Such a lovely set of photographs of an iconic Liverpool band. Gerry is every bit a superstar in the eyes of pop fans. A really lovely man who lived his life to entertain us. Two tributes that will always mean he lives on forever…he and his pacemakers have “You’ll Never Walk Alone” played at every Liverpool FC home match, and the ferry terminal on the Liverpool side of the Mersey is named after him…’The Gerry Marsden Terminal’. Thanks to this amazingly good band for leaving us all such a great legacy of music to listen to. RIP Gerry Marsden. ❤
So very sad that all the wonderful talented singers and musicians I had the great fortune to grow up to are now passing on. So very glad to still be able to go back in time to my carefree childhood with these wonderful people
I was born in 1980. I started to listen to oldies around 1997. Absolutely magical era. This group is so soothing and relaxing. Now 2022 and still touching my heart. Rest in peace
A once in a life time voice. Some of the best music ever recorded. They hands down were so much better than the Beatles. Gerry had those adorable boy next door Good looks and his smile was infectious. Absolutely extraordinary. RIP Gerry! You'll never walk alone!
This song "Ill be there" I remember so well as I broke up with the little boy down the street after he gave me a ring in grade 3 lol ...always cried when I heard this song ...awe 10 year old true love ...big fan of Gerry Marsden!
Fantastic, Gerry & The Pacemakers. Takes me back , some fabulous sounds typical of the Mersey Beat. Gerry the red but enjoyed Fred's comments many times making our way home after many Everton games . Superb. Great songs.
