Saw the show at Kay Meek, Vancouver. Absolutely phenomenal....hopefully there will be more from it....

to create a different sonic palette from the trumpet section...this is in the spirit of the Shostakovich piano concerto No. 1 which has a secondary soloist with the trumpet.
