A COMMENT. A comment is come. The comment never arranged. It showed that it was red. A reddening for a moment, and a moment. What was the point, what was the point of it being pure and strained and anxious in where it was pointed. And there it wasn't.
Are these people like Gertrude Stein still being cultivated today? I think we need more people like her to, help give the mainstream; taste in iconography.🧑🎨♾️🎭
Gertrude Stein was not a good writer. Never was. She had a simplistic style that was eccentric. What she had was a great, commanding, well-respected personality, character & judge of talent. No one like Gertrude exists singularly today. She straddled both literature & artistic painters who both respected her opinions. And many became world-famous. That's an accomplishment for someone from Allegheny, PA. Same place wrestler Bruno Sammartino & artist Andy Warhol comes from (Allegheny is now Pittsburg). Must be something in the water. Her talent is parallel to the many creative music producers & writers like T Bone Burnett, George Martin, and Van Dyke Parks (among many others) -- all great musicians, who issued albums but never had a successful career selling their own solo albums. But their success came from helping others. That sentiment is what Gertrude Stein should be remembered for. She excelled at that & should be respected for it. By the way when you hear some politicians or pundits on TV say "there's no there, there." That's Gertrude Stein. She said that years before they did. And "a rose, is a rose, is a rose..." That too, all Gertrude in its simplicity.
If that paltry poetry sold, I know my poetry will sell. I say what other's only dare think. People, now, are afraid to breathe. I wish I wrote light hearted "stuff" sometime, but it's not to be. I am called to be a force of nature. A heavy hitter, either liked or hated. Either way is "impact". Impact is like a bullet making it's mark. Either doing damage or good. Possibly both..🤔
