These guys learned the game from Floyed. You gets no advantages over them. People act like Tank gets an advantage over fighters by putting rehydration clauses on them but how is it an advantage if he has the same clause on himself?
Yea I always supported the rehydration clause because it makes sense. But I’m not mad at the fighters for following suit when they can and blowing up because it has been allowed for a while and naturally the fighter will take advantage of whatever they can to win. So the rehydration clause will make all these guys fight closer to their true weight classes.
It favours Tank because his body being stumpy will only hydrate to a certain level! A bigger, taller, framed boxers body would need more fluid to get the right balance In their body for a fight. NO HYDRATION CLAUSE, YOU. SEE A DIFFERENT FIGHT!

If a fight is at 135 and u rehydrate to 155 is that not cheating your opponent? Ur only allowed to rehydrate 10 pounds not 25+ so basically thats the new ped guys cant pop dirty so they come into a fight 25 pounds heavier then they opponent
It's not about rehydrating...its about rehydrating 25 pounds overnight... That's really not possible unless you're doing iv's and vitamen bags because if you chugged that much water you wouldn't gain that much and if you did you would be sluggish. The only way rehydration clauses makes sense is if it's 2 fighters from different weight classes trying to make a fight that people want to see, and make some money, and the fighters agree to it. Other than that it's just weigh in within the limit
