For monitoring blood glucose, you should try Libre sensor 2 or similar that is available there. It’s just simple and painless without need of pricking needles. If you ask your GP they may prescribe it.
Hi andi...first of all i like your videos and your husband jokes..he is so nice . So coming to the main point i had a gestational diabetes with my 2 pregnancies. 1st time i was so worried but maintained good diet without any medications. Mainly we have to be stress free andi. Stress will increase sugar leveles more. And keep few changes in the food 1. Replace white rice with Quinoa (best) or brown rice , jowar roti 2. For me soy milk worked best insted of regular milk 3. No sugars and no sweets 4. Insted of toor dal moong dal best 5. Eat soaked almonds , walnuts 6. Soaked chia seeds in a glass of water and drink it ( makes your tummy full) it helped me alot 7. If you feel like to eat any fried food whole moong dal vadas are best 8. Protine shakes keeps you full 9. Rogi molt 10. Use monk fruit sugar if you feel like to eat sugars 11. Eat more veggies , salads , grilled meats , fish is best 12. Paneer is best keeps you full for long time 13. Oats also best And after each meal if possible walk 15 to 20 mins it helps to reduce your sugar levels If possible use finger tips for blood test ( prees it little hard before poking then you won't fell pain) I know it not easy to follow all these but its good for you and your baby . Once you delivered baby you will be normal. Think in a possitive way if you follow good diet you wont gain much weight after delivery you will be in your normal weight . Hi sister,don’t worry,you will definitely get through it..I have also gone through the same..you can make it.its better you try to prick on finger tips,it will be less painful and you will get the blood drop very quick and also it will be very easy to take the drop in the strip,and make sureif you have time better walk atleast 15 minutes for every meal,so that your blood sugars won’t elevate quick.

Hi you can do this test on fingers,It is easy to prick a finger and you will get blood soon from fingers, you shoud do on the side of the fingers,not on the tip of the fingers
