Today was a good day at work because she finished all her tasks (taken) and could leave early. She happily closed her computer and went outside. In front of her office is a large bicycle parking (fietsenstalling). Sofie looks around but can’t find her bike. She thought maybe she parked it elsewhere, but after searching, she realizes her bike has been stolen. She calls the police (politie) and explains what happened. The police officer says they will file a report, but Sofie knows the chances of seeing her bike again are slim. It wasn’t a good end to her day after all.
