Yeah the further away the microphone is, the more the room acoustic will go into your mix. I like to work with a super dry sound and make it better with fx

Great setup! Do you use any external mixers when you are recording or you record directly into your audio box which goes to the daw and then add the mix later. I personally don’t really enjoy recording dry sound. Can’t feel the music
@@FabioMarziali Hi Fabio, please correct me if I'm wrong. As far as I understood, when you record in the studio/at home, you just use a microphone that goes directly in the audio interface which is connected to the computer and you use real time software monitoring for reverb. What is the difference when you play live? Do you still use the real time software monitoring or you use a different setup?

Hello. To achieve a pro sound you need a professional microphone, i am afraid there is no way around. You could eq and filter the sound recorded by your phone mic but you will never achieve the clarity and beauty of a condenser studio microphone
