Every small Contribution is in my opinion what both supports and creates Community together, regardless of Race Creed or Governmental agencies. Love Google for enabling this, people ask me why I Contribute and I say just because I can.
I do think many people rely on Google Maps now for hours of business (open now?), live look at how busy (if they know about it, love this real-time feature), and for reviews and photos. I do wish Google would consider using USPS validated addresses as the norm or at least as an alternate option / available web service to what the business states on Google Maps. UPS (not USPS) had the best service (validate address) to suggest an address that was not recognized on shopping checkout by the seller nor USPS. Too many hoops! Please consider it, Google Maps! 🙏🏼
@@d4b not sure I understand what your question answers in regards to my post. please clarify. all carriers are able to deliver mail to various forms of my address but certain retail website fields on checkout only allow a usps validated address. even on google maps, businesses have non-usps validated addresses according to the utility on the website for usps.
@@kelzipan_ Ah, now I get it! My point was that the business verification postcard reaches the merchant at the address they declare, (or it doesn't), so therefore it works. I now see your point, that it might get delivered (basically as a courtesy), but that's not their "official"/normalized address that they really should be using.
@@d4b ok makes sense, thanks. the fact that all carriers figure it out makes me think the retailer is using some old web service, or just too restrictive, to validate it. shopify has no problem. amazon has no problem. major retailers have no problem.. it was a major jeans company. i gave up after 3 tries checking out. buy jeans elsewhere. 🤷🏻♀️ ups had the best address validation. just wish google maps would add it as a utility because i use google maps for everything. hours. busy-ness. directions. contact info. reviews. menu. add a ups address validation. 🤞🏼 not a must have. just a nice to have.
