Unfortunately this isn’t to master stepping. You will need to find a local instructor to teach you personally. These instructors charge for their services. I put this video out so that myself and husband can view vs trying to see everything from my phone. So I suggest you look for someone in your local area to teach you stepping forms. Drew is an awesome teacher and instructor ❤️❤️. Be blessed Also at the time I posted most videos. I wasn’t aware instructors charged for services. This was my first time participating in ISDC events and seeing all the different instructors and services offered.
I'm a stepper and I've viewed many videos and classes. This illustration is probably the best I've seen. Drew at his young age, teaches with both old and new school flavor. He also shows much respect for the history of the dance. It's about the rhythm and beat. Much love.
I'm a former DJ (1977-1989) and Ballroom and Latin Instructor/choreographer (1994-2012)... ...and having studied and enjoyed partnered dances derived from (and/or inspired by) the African Diaspora in South, Central, Caribbean and North America... ...I can confidently day THIS... ...is proper, high quality instruction. Hello thank you for sharing this post I wanted to ask you a question you can answer or you can ask Drew to answer it if you know the answer can anyone at any age learn how to step I admired I'm really not a stepper I'm originally from Chicago I live in Crazy Indiana with nothing like this happened but I desire to learn also Drew want to contest with my best friend's daughter Tabitha I have asked her if she could possibly get Drew to autographed a picture of him I just love them I just love his slow and how he has mastered stepping Thank You from miss Johnnie
Yes anyone can learn to step at any age. There are many older adults learning this dance. I would first practice the basic movements over and over again. Then move on to other movement and later styling. Good luck
