Wonder who gets the luxurious 1st class area of the cabin , probably the coaches and the medical team that takes care of the athletes and the economy section will be where all of the athletes will be getting poor treatment while the people up front get special treatment.

40,000 security personal is no way enough. France is famious for always having political protests, whether it's strikes or full on riots, the French are the masters. Also Frances colonial history means that a lot of the population comes from countries with a muslium majority. If you think the Gaza protests in US universities were big, then you'll be shocked by the scale of what the French will do.

It’s not even that, it just works better for Deltas fleet with the fleet commonality and probably got a better deal on the aircraft, also they flew A330’s before so pilots didn’t need to be retrained

Rock climbing is the most pure sport out there. Right up there next to running and swimming. Other sports are more specialized and specific. Pole vaulting is more ridiculous than rock climbing
