@@askvlogs3726 i just finished my 12th and I'll go for BTech. It's next to impossible to be able to excel in both Btech and this course simultaneously. And since the course might take 6 years, I think it's better that i prepare for GATE and pursue MTech further as Btech+Mtech is going to take me 6 years as well.

Not 10hrs a week, if you take 3-4subs it will be 30-40hrs, depending on the subject you choose and your knowledge grasping capacity it can go beyond that.

@@96hikfoDepends karta hai, Agar GATE ke through Mtech karna hai to abhi sirf IIT kanpur and IIT Madras hi allow karte BS walo ko. But agar UPSC karna hai to zarur ho jayega. Slowly saare IIT apna online program nikal rahe hai, to most probably vo baadme admission Mtech ke liye bhi allow karde

Their is qualifier exam brother, 60k applied , 15k got selected, also as course is going on ,very few are able to pass exams, inside info from its students who got internship few days back is that 3 digit students only were able to clear one of 2 diploma level programs, and 200 something only cleared both diploma level program in data science and programming.

I am sure this would be done by other iits too and this would be the future of education. Private colleges ☠️☠️☠️ And there would be competition btw iits that who produces better cources and therefore better Engineers. In terms of business it's great , in terms of quality it's great and India would produce one of the best computer science students. I don't think this would be valid for other core engineering course but for computer science, data science and AI this is great and makes much more sense. Genius move my IIT Madras for early adoption..

Those who think this degree would be a cakewalk, let me be very clear, it is not. Qualifying is easy but the courses are not. In diploma internals scoring 60/100 is tough(that too for people you qualified jee advance(DTU)). So enter only if you are ready to dedicate your time and efforts.

I have a doubt that suppose you get a score of between 50 to 70 percent in the qualifier exam which you can select only up to two courses which means that you will be able to complete the foundation level but you won't be able to enter the diploma level or the degree level as the requirement for it is to complete all the courses of the foundational level. So in such a case what are you supposed to do?

2 courses doesn't mean diploma and foundation. There are total I think 10 subjects you can choose from a person can choose 1 to 4 subjects

Thats not how it works...they have divided each year into 3 terms(1 term = 4 months) ....and 1st year(foundation level) has 8 courses suppose you scored 50 to 70 percent in the qualifer exam then you can select upto 3 courses in each term that means you can select 3 subject in 1st term+ 3 subject in 2nd term+ 2 subject in 3rd term= 8 course in 1 year... And if you score more than 70 percent in qualifier exam you can take upto 4 course in each term and complete foundation level in 2 terms i.e 8 months

Bro You missed one thing that Bs students have annual fest also at iitm campus called paradox it's 3 day fest. You should mention it And they are not allowed to take hostel but they can go campus anytime but they can't live there You will have the proper I'd card of iitm also.

Tbh, After making it 4 year BS. They really made it a full fledged technical degrre cuz BSc wasn't so great for Masters in Technical courses. But after BS, we can get admission to Mtech program of IITM and IITK through GATE

Im 1st year student of BS degree pursuing this BS course...course lene se pehly mere man mei doubt tha ki how is it ..but after studying through it, I Got satisfaction that ki course pura offline campus k tarah hi hai..agar aap iss course mei jaise aap offline college mei padty hai pura efforts with combination of hardwork and smartwork then this Degree will definitely pays off...Or haa yeh bhi sach hai ki Offline se jyada mehnat Iss Online degree mei karna padta h...qki Aapko alert rehna padega har notification ka mails pr, har week ka practise or graded assignment deadline pr submit krna hota hai, every month aapko exam dena hoga jiska marks semester k total marks par count hota hai,...I request to everyone that plz If you want only IIT tag then do not opt this course..because agar aapko iss degree mei interest nahi hai toh aap iss phase mei jo challenges or difficulties aayngy usko aap handle nahi kar paaogy. Agar aapko interest hai iss degree mei tab hi join karo or achy se sab cheez sikho aap definitely get good result at the end.. Note: mei aapko dara nahi raha hu ki bhot difficult hai..mei bas aapko sachai bata raha hu ki bhot Easy hai agar aap sahi direction mei mehnat karogy interest k sath... Qki jee advanced bhi koi difficult exam nahi hai, jitna logo ne hype create kiya hai..agar jee adv k preparation m bhi sahi process ko follow kiya jaye dil se toh jee advanced bhi bhot easy hai... Last year 15k rank thi jee advanced m then I took drop for iit Delhi but 75% criteria remove nhi hua esliye ab iit/nit m nhi hoga. I am obc candidate agr criteria remove ho jae to nit Trichy m CSE mil jaegi agr nhi hua to DTU CSE le luga. And bhai how's DTU CSE?? 2020 m UGC ne approved kr diya tha ki hm ek time per 2 degree kr shkte h (offline and online esliye ye illegal bhi nhi h) ab m iit Madras bs data science program join kr rha hu. Iitian bhi ban jauga 😎
