Keep up the good work! I know a lot of people don't care for them, but I love when you do the Clone videos. Not all of us have the kind of budget required for name brand! I'm currently looking for a used Remo 1073 or 1093 to be the center of my next build...
I told My younger sister that I want to buy fpv drone but your video was recommended by youtube and I watch your couple video and now I change my mind and bought rc car
These are very capable for the price, I have the other model which has 1.9 wheels, same chassis and running gear. The only flaw is the weak servo but a good advantage is all Axial SCX10 bits fit it.
You should do a follow up video of some of these budget RCs so we could see how they held up, or what mods you have done. They sure look tempting but wondering if it’s worth it.
I like the fact you did the Remo Hobby. They really do sale a quality product. Here in America you can buy Remo Hobby products at CIS. You should try the SMax and a lot of their stuff is good for the price. Cheap is an understatement. Very affordable and worth every penny. Do more Remo Hobby Kev. I love your video's and I like how real you are in them. Keep up the awesome work.
Stijn Loos yes you should. It keeps any residual fuel from drying out and gumming up your engine. I learned the hard way. I had to pull it all apart and clean it. Cool to see how it worked but not fun at the time because it was a have to fix.
Kev surprisingly I have really loud Rc cars and no one tells us off so we just take em out bashing and my dad bashed his one so bad as he did donuts and rear wheel fell off mine didn’t break this time yay 😁 BTW ur my favourite RU-vidr keep up the amazing work Kev
We will have to try my scx10 against it, it’s an exact copy of the scx10 2 , I’ve also got some proper axial ripsaws coming (clone of the tires). Also got the axial version of that body too lol
I have saw those every where i never got one because so didn’t know if they would be good or not so I was just waiting to see if he would do a review on one so now I know I will probably get one throw a new servo in and use it instead of saving for a trx 4 because they are really expensive lol
Hey guys I just want to say don't make fun of kev when he say dirt cheap If you want to know my secret to real dirt cheap ⬇️ So you need to buy it in shoope with Malaysia money A.k.A RM because a dumborc radio cost 150 dollars right but in shoope it RM 67!! And it the same model it will be cheaper if you live in Malaysia because the shipping will cost less than ever That's my pro tips😀 1 dollars = 4 rm 10 dollars =40 rm Rm =ringgit malaysia
Omfg HAHAHA the whip sound does it again.hahah love your videos dude. Thanks to you I bought the wlt12428 and my first X MAXX. Thank you buddy. Greetings from arizona🌵🌞🦂
I strongly recommend moving to a higher quality crawler if you're looking for longevity. I don't like the battery tray up front. If the crawler is front heavy there will be more risk of tipping forward when you don't want that.
really nice choice for the price👌👍, just need better servo and metal driveshaft🤗, and you can up front knuckles (end of axle) for better steering🤓. i thinks this remo is better of remo honcho 1093st. honcho have bad tires😡.. but nice price i bought my remo 130€, and i solded it for 180€ with few mods😉✌✌. nice vid sir kev👍👍
It looks like a rebranded Redcat Everest10 which is basically a reworked HPI Maverick Scout. With some repro SCX10 bits bolted on, so should be basic but reliable
Nah man it's not too bad , you can get a redcat gen 7 sport for 200USD , comes with a charger battery and remote too. Completely ready to run and I absolutely love it
A good starter car would be a WLtoys 14401 you can get one for under $120USD I have one and absolutely love it, it is a good bashing car and its pretty quick.
What about the Redline brand of vehicles? While not top of the line, the units I"ve gotten have been solid for a very good price. Lots of spares as well. Would love to see you pick up one or two. They have a large following in the states.
Oh I like this one! It looks cool and the ESC seams to enable smooth operation. Please install a stronger servo. If it is doing well then I want to go for one.
Hi Kev. Looking at the photos on banggood the chassis looks as though its reversible. Could I get this and convert to 4 wheel steer without too much hassle?
Ayyyy, now this is wat I've been looking for If I get I reckon I might do twin motor, also change body shell as it looks kinda naff, but overall very cool 👌👌👌
Hey Kevin, have you tried the IKEA LADDA AA Batteries in the controllers? are they any good? They say they are the best there is. They are cheap and they are best so why not use them?
Seems kind of bouncy. Hmm the sales page does say "Oil filled damp shocks". Some kind of adjustment needed there by the looks of it. Tis pretty cheap though at £179.49 currently.
