Hey lovely so touching upon the whole smear thing I had always had clear smears but in 2022 I had a smear and it was the first time they tested for hpv first and it came back hpv positive no abnormal cells I was freaking out I had to go back 12 months later to have another one instead of 3 years I went back after a year of panicking taking untold vitamins gave up smoking excercise just trying to boost my immune system and I went for the smear in July 2023 and it was all clear 😊 so now I’m back in 3 years Hpv isn’t anything to panicking about most of us have it at some point in our lives and put low immune system can just activate it . Just look after yourself try and boost that immune system you will be fine take care ❤
Thank you so much for your advice! It came just saying “high risk HPV” nothing about any abnormal cells or anything about cells at all, & yes I have to go back in December this year.
Oh your very welcome Yours is exactly the same as mine then high risk and no abnormal cells honestly please do not worry just try and boost your immune system a little I started with supplements and ahcc I ordered do Amazon they are pricey but I took them for 2 months they don’t no if they helped but I gave it a shot . Hpv is so common but only been braught to attention since like 2019 please don’t panick there is no need honestly
@@dawnpotter5454 this makes me feel better about it that someone’s had exactly the same results as me. Just makes you panic doesn’t it….or at least it does me anyway. Always think the worst possible outcome heh it comes to my health, especially with having two young children (10 & 5). I’ve started getting more fruit & veg in as of today, really going to try, & I always take chewy multivitamins anyway so hopefully they help as well.
Honestly hun I read a lot on jos cancer trust forum and it helped so much so many women going though the same i panicked for 12 months lol and wish I bloody hadn’t but it’s normal to it’s just the unknown isn’t it . But yes I had the same and like I said the key is trying to keep ur immune system as good as it can be so the HPV can’t be detected it basicsly lays dormant in your body so it’s always there but just won’t cause your cells to change ect . I know I have 4 young boys and you think the worst lovely but your be fine you don’t need to worry ❤hope this helped a little

Did she specify whether she had cell changes? If not, then they will redo another smear test in 1 yr. If there are cell changes, she will be referred for a colposcopy to look at the cervix more closely and if reqiired, they will treat it there and then (depending on the grade, may have to do a LEEP procedure) and will have a smear every 6 months ( i think ? ) until clear. 90 percent of the time. The immune system will get rid of it, that why they repeat smear in 1 yr time if no cell changes. If you are reading this, it will be fine ❤❤ this is why smears are so important! You will be looked after please dont worry.. HPV is soooo common most of us have got it and dont realise cos it clears up before smear test is due! Xx
@Ang3lAura111 your cells probably haven't changed , that's why they said repeat in 12 months :) your body will most likely of cleared the virus by then. Glad to be of help. Please dont worry , easier said than done I know x
100%! I don't do it if it's really cold, but anything from about 6° or 7° upwards with a good wind, you'll have stuff dry in a couple of hours. Maybe not towels or heavy blankets, but definitely things like clothing and bed sheets etc. What I do if the weather is looking a bit changeable is put them on a clothes horse right by the back door, so if it's starts raining suddenly, I can just grab the whole thing and bring it in. If stuff isn't fully dry, I just finish it off in the tumble dryer, but then it's only on for 20/25 minutes rather than an hour or an hour and a half. My mum and my nan swore that windy weather was washing weather, lol.😊 xxx

I'm 43 but when I was 22 mine came bk the same after further investigation I had calopsy and cells removed similar experience to the comment further down I then had to have smear every year for ten years I do thank my lucky stars everyday as not long after that they changed the age limit so I was lucky to have it spotted at 22 know I'm on the yearly mammogram screening due to discovery week b4 40 and family history women do get the brunt end but hope your subscriber knows it is a preventive procedure and all the best xx
It's so easy to let your mind go wandering with anything that's intrusive I had a lovely nurse who helped me relax and it genuinely was over in blink of a eye , all the best ❤
I had a high risk smear, was many years ago, dr wanted me to see a specialist or get more testing I can't remember exactly. I ended up getting a second opinion from another dr and she said to do another pap smear in a couple months I think it was and that one came back normal. I was very stressed about it though
Hello Honey ❤ Maybe you could try putting a pamper on the dog at night before you go to bed so you won't have to wake up to a mess ❤ I know they sell dog pampers, but I've seen people cut a hole for the tail in a baby pamper as well. Hope this helps ❤

Ria, for your subscriber who is worried about her smear results. Last year I had a smear come back with HPV, basically I had pre cancerous cells. For your subscriber please know you DO NOT have cancer, it means they have found cells that if left could possibly become cancerous. I was called to the hospital for treatment. What they do is use the contraption they use to hold you open to do a smear, the doctor then applies a numbing cream in your cervix and then they scrape away the dodgy cells. It is a bit sore. I recommend she takes painkillers about 30 mins b4 hospital appointment. She will bleed so she'll need to bring pads with her NOT tampax. Also intercourse is of limits ....for me It was 2 weeks before I could sex. I'm not sure if everyone is told 2 weeks or if it was because I had a lot of cells needing to be scrapped away. Because I have had cancer 3 times now, skin cancer, lymph nodes and liver, they are still giving me smears every 3 months. I believe it is they remove the cells, 3 months later another smear, 6 months another smear, then a year and finally back to every 3 years. To your subscriber, please do not worry, it's brilliant they identified the funny cells so they can get rid of them and keep her healthy. Thank you for your advice ❤. My results didn’t say anything about abnormal cells, literally just said presence of high risk HPV, nothing about any cell changes at all, it just said that & said I will need to book a smear for 12 months time
@Ang3lAura111 That's what mind said and then I was sent for 2 weeks after I got the letter and then then said the cells were pre-cancerous but said risk of HPV. 2 weeks post letter I then had the cells removed. Each case is different, possibly my reading was higher than urs plus I've a history of cancer and they said they didn't want to leave the cells there. If they are not calling you for 12 months, then really I would not worry about it. If your reading was higher you would be sent for quickly. The fact you're not even being called for a 2nd scan right away means you've nothing to worry about!

Have you tried espresso? Or a stronger coffee than instant coffee? It might help to take one cup instead of several of the instant one? I really, really like coffee and an Italian press is nice for espresso or a French press for regular coffee….or a Nespresso machine.

@@riasuzanne5541 😊 I always say here because we have to go to school through 12th grade but I think the kids senior year they need a class called a good swift kick in the pants class because these kids don't know how to cook they know how to whine they don't know how to make a bed they don't know how to go to the grocery store they don't know how to clean the toilet they don't even know how to manage money so they need a class to take before they graduate high school
