Haven't made sauerkraut in forever. Though I do need to make some Chow Chow soon Working in the flower garden is zen like n painting is another zen for me. Absolutely love the lamp. Oh my gosh my youngest was a Lego fan when he was young.. stepping on those were "I really don't have words"..lol Loved their bigger bulky toys. With those smaller toys with multiple tiny pieces were always disappearing in the abyss. Have an amazing week.

Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. I enjoyed this type of video because it is nothing I have seen before. I enjoyed seeing the differences between days of accomplishment and days of rest. 😊 I feel like both days of accomplishment and days of rest are both equally important. We need those rest days where we focus on ourselves and resting our bodies. If we have too many rest days then we won’t be able to get anything done. So it’s important to find a balance of both. 😊🥰

Hi Danielle, I love pull chain lamps , they are sweetly old fashioned and hard to find.I planted Dahlias and Columbine at a previous house in the garden, they were so pretty and I couldn’t believe the Dahlia flower heads , they were so big and gloriously colorful. Danielle,try putting some caraway seeds in the sauerkraut, it gives a nice flavor, it’s a Polish thing.😆 Hugs to everyone 🫂💜🦋

Hey Ann! I totally agree that there is an old fashioned feel to the pull chains. I love them! I will definitely try the caraway seeds! We are all polish and that’s why my family likes it so much lol. We actually had sauerkraut, apple sauce, pirogies, and kielbasa at our wedding!! Hugs!!

Yes, we need that balance of achievement & rest! With the toys can you just have less that the kids help cleanup? I get how frustrating that can be and Dawn the minimal mom motivates me to have less. Also, with the deck boards that sounds so frustrating that maybe there is metal plates or a different kind of material to use in those places where they chew so you all don’t have to replace them yearly. Just thoughts. Thanks for bringing us along in your day!

I totally hear the whole “having less toys” idea. I’m all for that. My husband and I don’t actually buy the kids anything aside from birthdays and Christmas. And that’s usually only a present and a book. It’s more a family situation. They get so many gifts even when I’m like, oh we don’t need anything. It’s just crazy. And then I feel guilty getting rid of it right away. It’s such a rough balance. But I sneak toys out in the donate bin regularly lol. It’s just so much. Changing the boards up is a great idea! But I’m such a traditionalist and our house is over 100 years old so I constantly struggle with putting “modern” feeling fixes to the structure. It’s definitely my issue lol. Thank you so very much for your ideas. I truly appreciate them. I need to jump into having even less camp as well!

Hey Dawn!! The sauerkraut came out soooo good! I was actually so surprised at how easy it was so i would definitely give it a shot. I love have it with burgers or BLTs. So so good! Big hugs!!

My beef with our porch is that our cats kill a mouse about every other day, they’re outside and they carry it up to our porch 🤢 please stop friends, I’m trying to make our porch pretty 😭

Hahaha oh no!!! That’s the worst! Our husky, when I was a child, would get squirrels and one time a possum, and leave them as gifts at the back door all the time lol. It was always like, no thank you sir!!! Haha
