if you already use flutter_hooks but want to use get_it_mixin this woesn't work because we both use the same 'hack' but I also published a package called get_it_hooks that gives you the same functionality but as hooks.

Update 15.12.2020: Instead of using getX you should use watchOnly, check the readme of get_it_mixins pub.dev/packages/get_it_mixin#watching-data) I hope you liked today's episode! @@FlutterExplained Thanks alot. I would like to mention that I tried your tutorial on get_it_mixin and I have some remarks. 1. My app crashes when I am trying to declare global instance of getIt using asNewInstance so I can only declare it using the static instance GetIt locator = GetIt.asNewInstance() will fail GetIt locator = GetIt.instance succeeds 2. In the GetItMixinScreen, if I use the get or getX as per your video, state does not update. I had to use watch instead for it to work. so the question is when to use get/getX and when to use watch/watchX? Correct me if I am wrong, but I feel get/getX is like Provider with listen: false and watch is Provider with listen: true. so maybe if I am to read once or execute a method I will use the get and when I am waiting for updates/state changes I should consider watch. please confirm! thank you
