Brilliant again the eamonn dunne line hit me i grew up with him since babys . If you dont know gang boss who was shot in dublin . Irish rap is old school and i love it
ive been trying to say that forever, but i could never word it. You nailed it on the head, and that's the same reason i listen to american underground, irish, canadian and australian rap because all of there rap is equivelant to american underground.
When rap music started in America.. it started in Brooklyn New York and places like that, where everybody struggled... and rap and hip hop was REAL RAP and REAL HIP HOP... now all american rap is about how much money you have.. thats why its cool listening to this Irish Rap.. its like rap music back to its roots
cnt wait for volume 2, seriously, last summer ish, twas all i was playin, kinda...seriously tho, volume 2 and a couple o vids, maybe, is gonna be TOPPO
choooooon, i actually overheard a convo between 2pac & Dannyboy and 2ac was asked who the realist was, and he did say Steenson. real chat! That track is a daisy!!!
@FamousEddieFortune true bill mate, it goes hand in hand ,,its only a matter of time before irish hip hop blows up,,and if it don't well it duznt matter ireland beholds the greatest poets ever always did and always will
Everyone was slick , so was production.Enjoyed Reds the most i have to say but everyone was on form. How you get a copy of DFI Mixtape , the easiest way ?
@MnBBeats Thats my song. I came up with the hook and concept for it. The lads featured on it. Da fighting irish is not a mixtape, its a rap battle league. It was already known as dfi(dontflopireland) the name was changed to da fighting irish. Battling is a confrontational artform so fighting irish was natural name for it.
Just been watching a few vids from ppl like Nugget- looks like there is some real talent in Ireland. I hope all the 'Fuck England' comments are from people who understand the history between the two countries and not just Americans. Much love from the UK keep it up lads.
