Join us this week aboard mermaid monster as we set out for the summer cruising season and head north on a 3 day cruise from Florida to Virginia. It was not a pretty cruise. In fact, it was probably one of my least favorite cruises that we have ever done in our 6 years of cruising. The weather was just downright awful. We had to jump in and out of the gulf stream, which added time to our cruise. I had 3 seasick kids and even a seasick dog and there was nothing I could do about it. I (Brooke) was feeling total burnout at this time. I just wanted to get off the boat and walk away from boating, a feeling I had yet to experience. Watch as you see how it unfolds. After 3 crappy days underway, with one faulty start, we ended up in Deep Point, North Carolina where the sun began to shine again.
