Why didn't you get your ears done properly with a needle in a piercing clinic? Those guns are terrible for your ears as they shatter the cartilage and the general hygiene of clares plus the guns are terrible. The piercing they use isn't even sharp!

ok i agree with the clairs thing. it’s defo not the place to go but to get you cartilage done with a gun is completely fine. and ngl they are quite sharp. no hate tho

I got my ears pierced at Claire's with a gun around 1-2 years ago and my ears are fine

I have that piercing I got it done august and it still isn’t healed beware also looks so cute and you where fr my childhood ❤❤Also the person I got my helix done with said you should never get them done with a gun because they cause lumps 😂❤

Helix is the placement of the earring and it’s in the cartilage part of your ear so she’s literally right 🤦‍♀️

I got mine done at Claire’s and I got numbing cream and did not feel a thing 9/10 tho because I stabbed behind my with house sharp the earring was the day after and the earring was that small that it sank into the peircing

Imagine using the internet all day, every day to post content on all these different platforms and not being able to use it to do 5 seconds of research on where or how to get piercings done properly, or even the proper names for them… Watch that helix piercing develop a keloid bc it’s been done with a gun at Claire’s…🙄

i work at claire’s. keloids are developed for a number of reasons: - the customer not cleaning it properly, or maintaining after care - rejection, the customer’s body rejects the piercing, which is very common - over production of collagen - allergies - genetics instruments used to pierce do not cause keloids.

I havr two helix. It feels sloght pressure then tis over for me. however go professional piercer, not gun piercer. hurts less and safer.
