That´s surely is a great tutorial. There are so many convoluted and difficult to follow Mocha Pro tutorials on RU-vid that it is really great to see some like this that don't skip any steps so it is easy to follow along. Top Top
Great tut and very well explained, just one thing i think that you forgot to mentioned to activate the UBER key when adjusting the shoulder tracked layer. Please correct me if im wrong. Thankyou
Yes good point to bring up. You can see at 5:45 the UBER KEY was activated so he could adjust the the roto mask around the shoulder globally. Understanding UBER KEY is important when you are dealing with precise roto and you want to adjust multiple keyframed areas at once. !

I have rendered in Mocha and removed successfully,but when I save and close Mocha and back in after effects to render and use the dropdown menu to select Mode Normal the remove module,after effects did not show.This question has been bothering me for a long time, can you help me solve it?
Do I need to add the 3rd layer around the subject im erasing in order to get it to work once I shopped out the image? Its not working for me. I didn't see the window in my footage go blurry.
Theoretically yes. If the timestamp obscures part of the car then you follow this tutorial exactly but if it covers the outside... I'm not sure, you'd have to paint out every frame or let mocha calculate by itself?
Thank you for this tutorial ! However I'm experiencing very complex removals to do : I have a drone shot of a forest with car parked I want to remove, BUT there are trees between the cam and the object to remove... I haven't found a tutorial from you guys dealing with that specific hard case. I saw one with a bridge, grafittis, etc. but not with complex and small shapes over the plate. Do you have anything like that to help me out please ?
If you'd like to send us a link to your shot, we could take a look. In general any occluded foreground elements will need to be masked out to successfully do a remove.
Hi, I get artifacts ALL THE TIME, all you videos never talk about artifacts, those ugly edges we see when we play the "cleaned" video. Can you please make one where you address the artifacts. with all your videos, I keep wasting 1 hour of webinar waiting for artifacts to be dealt with, it never comes. So please the artifacts. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you find them in your own "cleaned" videos, check the one with the man jogging, you have artifacts in your own removal, I can see his feet. And about the bridge video, how about showing the part of the truck, therein lies the problem. Artifacts, artifacts, Mocha Pro is useless if these artifacts are there. We have them on every removal.
