Southgate is changing man for man, he is not capable of trying to change the positions, he doesnt try to put kane as a 10 instead of 9 and leave palmer like a 9. Mayne Bellingham could be closer to Rice, since Rice has been good at recovering but not play making or even passing the ball correctly, Jude would help him in midfield and Harry could be a playmaker for Palmer, Foden, Saka or Watkins. Even palmer can play right side instead of Saka. Leave Ollie on too, palmer or saka right and foden on left side. Now, we have no left back, ia trippier tired ? Put Foden as a "Left back" and Palmer can also be left wing. I mean, I know this last part is a bet, but Foden has been coming down to defend, might as well just leave him there and put someone else. Because we cannot make any plays coming from the left. Mainoo is poor, Trent is super poor, Rice good at dfnding but not passing. Trippier gets very tired.

I fell in love with it instead of a club. I've been supporting England all my life, at least since 2000, that's when I started liking football. It's just sad to watch the best english team perhaps since 1966 play as bad as the one from 2014. All other countries love to see us do bad, specially argentina. All my mexican mates are laughing at me.... once again. Also, there is a difference between winning 1 nil and you know, missing shots and at least try attacking. As someone else said, if you only understand English how would you know? My feeling is there is a unique toxicity surrounding the English football team. But every country is unique. Remember in Spain that Gerard Pique was regularly being booed because of his political beliefs. We harp on about club rivalries in England. Spain managed to win tournaments and there are parts of Spain that don't even feel Spanish. They feel more Catalan or Basque. Every country has their challenges. England have never been able to deal with theirs.

I been rooting for england since the good days in the 90s and never seen a better team than what we have now but our coaching staff is like a second division one in Italy. The talent we have compared to other teams is way better but yet we can’t dominate a game against serbia and denmark😂. It don’t get no worse than that. Btw this year i have another team i root for too and it’s my national team 🇦🇱 😂. He is completely reliant on penalties and scoring heavily against minnows, been the case his whole career. Can't see him getting near the golden boot with this group stage performance, he's hardly going to be knocking in hat-tricks in the knockouts.
