Getting a high paying is so difficult. Everyone wants to pay only 0.2 paisa per word and even lower. Since there are freelancers who are ready to work at these rates, it's even much worse to get a good paying client.

I am a PhD and was offered a technical writer job of 0.65 paisa per word which usually amounted to 2000-3000 per month or little bit more according to the HR. I didn't know the rates but was shocked by this amount.Moreover, company's requirements were candidates with Ph.D. I straight up refused the offer and really hoped that no Ph.D faces a situation where they needed to take up job with this kind of payment for so much effort.
