Before producing rapeseeds, rape is a beautiful flower. Every March and April, large areas of rape flower fields can be seen everywhere in Yunnan. In May, when rapeseeds get ripe, golden edible oil with a rich aroma can be extracted from them. People use rapeseed oil to fry meat or vegetables. Its rich aroma adds flavour to food. This time, with rapeseed oil, I cooked a few dishes my family members liked. We sit around to have ordinary food together, but this is a happy meal. I hope you can find happy things in your life too.

I'm from London in England, but I grew up in Cambridgeshire, and rapeseed is grown there too. I remember going past the fields of bright yellow flowers when I went to school or to the next village to visit my grandparents. Your videos are fantastic and so calming to watch, btw!

That's just the canola oil in the video, the english title was wrong

@@suzbabe103 it's just another name. They're both the same. Some countries call it differently. Canola oil is not good for you. Very inflammatory to your body and Very high in omega 6 which causes high cholesterol. Her rapeseed oil seem unrefined so it's better than conventional oil sold in the stores, but then she heated it to death like that chili oil and fried foods. It became inflammatory in high heat cooking.

but in most of her works，she spoke yunnan dialect，and she is bai minority from yunnan province which is located in southernest part of China ，bordering with Vietnam or Thailand. That means her videos may not be a good way to learn mandarin,just a reminding

Greetings from Liverpool England 🇬🇧 I like how you say you eat "simple meals". Here in England, the meals you cook are considered a "banquet" as we eat very simple meals, usually of only one course and do not go to such lengths to make them. I was taught to cook by my mother, and we had lessons in school to learn, but that was a long time ago. The young people today do not want to learn these things. They would rather go to a shop and buy ready prepared food, instead of preparing the ingredients fresh. I like to learn how to cook different foods so I really enjoy watching your channel. I hope you continue to teach all your grandmother's recipes for years to come, so that others may learn her wonderful food. I am sure she was very proud of all that you accomplish.

I follow you since your beginning. I do really appreciate and admire you, your videos and the good energy you share with us. Just to answer to your question: I live in Italy, north western side of it, in a region called Liguria. We have many olive trees from which we extract a very special and tasty extra virgin olive oil. I love your daily simple meals alot . วันนี้ก็ยอดเยี่ยมอีกแล้วนะคะเพนจี ที่เมืองไทยไม่มีน้ำมันแบบนี้ เราใช้น้ำมันปาล์มกับน้ำมันถั่วเหลืองเป็นหลัก ไม่มีกลิ่นเลยค่ะ อาหารน่ากินทุกอย่าง ถึงจะเป็นหมู่บ้านเล็กๆ แต่เป็นการใช้ชีวิตที่เรียบง่าย มีความสุขนะคะ

Удивительная страна.... Люди живут очень скромно, одеваются бедно, но еда изысканная и красивая, достойна самых шикарных ресторанов мира!!!! Трудолюбие, терпение и кропотливый труд поражает! На таких скудных, каменистых землях растут такие удивительные растения, овощи и фрукты поражают своими размерами и качеством! Удивительный народ... Браво!
