I love the fact that the old Legendary Pokemon ends with Zekrom, Reshiram and Kyurem as if we haven't figured out yet what the next games are going to be
I'm excited to see the legendary pokemon as static encounters all around Paldea, hope they're not Shiny Locked and you can finally get Shiny Sword & Shield Legendaries.
Remember that the Sword & Shield legendaries were given via an event. I know you probably remember, but just in case for your analysis. Edit: Whoops, forgot he likes to be the OT and that the DLC Pokémon are potentially shiny huntable.
Good news, some of them are going to be able to be shiny hunted, as the offichial pokemon account said (do the research because I can’t remeber my source).

I’m so excited for the Indigo Disk; it looks like it’s going to be great. I do hope Nemona, Arven, and Penny have bigger roles in the story, though. I missed them during Teal Mask.
They weren’t in the Teal Mask since that was available at the beginning of the game, before you really built up a relationship between those characters.
obviously they're going to be able to visit but it seems like it would be really painful for nemona to let you go without enrolling herself, both for social and battling reasons
It’s not gonna be over till 2025 bc Gamefreak LOVES to release a new gen every 3 years it’s so dumb I wish they’d wait and have gen 10 come out in 2026 on the 30th anniversary of the series.
It is not one of the best generations but it brought back something missing about the games and that was the mystery. The whole region is about exploration and while the game can't handle that, the idea is there: you start going around to Paldea meeting everyone and discovering but something feels uneasy about the region and not even the people that have lived there can tell you what it is. They talk about a mystery that has not been solved since ancient times and even after beating the game you still have more questions that answers.
The legendary Pokemon showing up in Blueberry Academy is so funny. Imagine you're just minding your day and all of a sudden Groudon and Kyogre show up and start fighting.
Basing off past games like USUM, SWSH and BDSP, I bet Groudon/Kyogre will be version exclusives again and so they won't exactly be fighting with each other
Yes!!! Blastoise’ 3D model is finally fixed. I’ve been wanting this for over 10 years. His face is sculpted proper, his cannons are the correct size, and his shell (white trim) is now sculpted properly! Ho-Oh’s new model also looks nice!
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one freaking out about the improvement to Blastoise!! It's my all time favorite, they even gave him that bubbly, curled up snout like the og model in RBY rather than the sharper, triangular build. I'm so happy 😭
@@Nodnarb0130 I’ve been wanting BLASTOISES model updated for over a decade. It’s all I was hoping to see in the trailer! Then they didn’t show any Blastoise gameplay…. The very last part of the trailer had that picture and I instantly saw the update & was zooming in looking at the changes. I am so happy! I hope these models get brought over to Pokémon go too
Man im so hyped for indigo disc. I now realize teal mask was but a prologue, a setup to drive the story towards a massive climax. Just the fact that the league members alone have level 88+ competitive pokemon shows for a very promising and intense final chapter for scarlet and violet with some crazy battles.
This trailer was actually incredibly hyped-from all the legendaries popping up in that collage, to watching your trainer quite literally control Pokémon, to BAD BOY KIERAN?! 🤩 very hyped for this!

2:41 Kieran's going through his Villain arc, his Crystal is even broken at 3:25. Kieran's new character design mixed with the music here is incredibly well done. I'm really interested to see where this goes in the Blueberry Academy dlc. 2:45 "Oh little Kieran. Little innocent Kieran. He isn't a villain just because he worked hard to become the best trainer, if you're judging by looks other characters look similar like the new elite 4, there's no reason to believe he became a villain other than being thirsty for a villain, no one in this game has been a villain, also, all crystals are actually broken if you look closely, offscreen-cut or not.
@@wilfur3077 If Briar really is a villain, I can actually imagine Geeta (in 2:54) taking matters into her own hands and confronting her alongside the player character, very much like how previous champions like Lance, Cynthia, Leon and Alder did before her. It would be even cooler if Alder and/or Iris joined up with Geeta and helped her confront Briar, since the Blueberry Academy is on their home turf, Unova.

Bought Violet on a whim and it became my most played Switch game. Absolutely loved my time with this game and the first expansion. Can't wait until next week!
I did something similar in the first half of the DLC where I shiny hunted my whole team and could only use them for the story and they had to be DLC exclusive and no overleveling. My team wound up being: Weezing, Leavanny, Poochyena, Furret, Mamoswine, Mienshao.
The crystal containing Kieran is shattered at the end - nice touch I'm glad they didn't show anything, we already understood what we had to about this trailer thanks to the leaks
I’m really excited to see that the returning legendaries seem to get interesting encounter methods and locations, rather than the “go do x for all of them” that was in USUM and SWSH
I mean, we don't know yet, ever since they added Legendaries to catch back in ORAS is the same, "go to x place and there's a Hoopa Ring, go to x place in Ultra Wormhole Ride, Go to the Tera Raid path, etc. Never tied to a side quest or similar
The skeptic in me sees that they’re all Pikaclones and thinks it’s gonna be limited to certain Pokémon. Gosh I sure hope I can run around as Cacnea though….
Funny how this DLC is released on the last day of the semester for my IRL school. Just gotta get through one more week of IRL research and a round of physical therapy, then it's off to the Blueberry Academy for me! So hyped for the Indigo Disk!
The Teal Mask was basically a bread and butter content DLC. Map expansion, new Pokémon, new items, returning things, small story expansion. Exactly what you would expect, which is why it was a solid DLC. Did absolutely nothing groundbreaking, but also nothing objectively worse than the main game
Let’s not forget that part 2 of this DLC is meant to replace a yearly Pokémon release around the holidays. They meant to put most of their efforts into Indigo Disk, just as they did with Crown Tundra.
I think that's maybe just for Pokemon races in this dlc but also could be acting as a test for say the next region or even a big new mystery dungeon game?
I am way too excited for this! Chilling with gym leaders, catching legendaries, starters, FLYING AROUND?? Let's just hope the performances doesn't get worse, lol.
Man this trailer along with the music kinda gives me the vibe that this dlc is a sort of final hoo-rah for pokemom scarlet and violet since this will most likelt be the last time these games will be worked on. Kinda bittersweet considering that i love this game despite all the glitches and negative aspects about it. Lets hope we this dlc has us go out with a bang
This DLC is jam packed with variety. Wow this is actually amazing. And.. We'll get development on Carmine and Kieran's story as well. Kieran looks like he started his edgy loner phase.

Honestly so hyped for this! From what I hear this one is focused much more around competitive battles which made me fall in love with Pokémon all over again after years away. Can’t wait to see what it entails!
I’m really curious to see if Elesa and Iono get a chance to interact. I’d love to see Elesa, as a veteran electric type model, chastise Iono for being so childish lol
Yeah, doubt we’ll ever see Elesa and Iono together unless it’s Pokémon Masters. The Paldea Sync Pairs are slowly but surely becoming available. I’d love to see Raihan and Iono interact more than Elesa.
Dude Elesa would probably find Iono hilarious. Elesa looks serious but like 10 seconds of talking to her is more than enough to realize she’s a total dork who loves puns and goofy jokes. She and Iono would 100% vibe out and collab.
I’m so excited to go deeper into area zero like the crystal tree and hallways look really cool. Wonder if there will be hints to a civilization down there. The music that accompanies the trailer fits so well and adds a level of excitement.
@@moiav-nj6zr I keep thinking about that pond in Kitakami that lets you see the spirits of the dead, and what good is that if we can't bring Arven there to say goodbye? I envision it where he sees his parent smile at him, then do the farewell gesture before vanishing. And he gets up and you see him from behind and it looks like he's sobbing, and maybe he is, but when he turns around he's smiling gratefully.
It's a shame none of the Gen 6 Legendaries are coming back (seriously, it's bad enough that Gen 6 only introduced three Legendaries), but it's still cool that several Legendaries are returning.
I know i should care about how the games run but Scarlet and Violet are still fun to play and to see many familiar pokémon. I'm looking forward to this and it'll help me get through to Christmas.
While I agree that Scarlet and Violet should have been delayed to work out the bugs, there are other games full of bugs out there that no one seems to be taking about. (Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon DS are two such games...)
Feel free to crucify me for this, but I honestly don’t think Scarlet and Violet’s bugs are that bad. The games certainly aren’t perfect, but everyone makes them out to be practically unplayable even though all they have is a few little glitches that I honestly barely notice unless I’m looking for them.
I've bought games for a fraction of the price made by individuals or small indie companies that do not have anywhere near the same level of performance issues. For a multi-billion coin company there are no excuses.@@tsifirakiehl4250
@@tsifirakiehl4250 I haven't encountered and "game breaking" glitches, though I did have a few pokemon that mysteriously vanished, one being a possible shiny... (it was a Happiny running away while I was running around looking for a shiny Fidough)
So, earlier, when they revealed that Kieran is the champion, i literally screamed and almost had a heart attack. In my opinion, Kieran is the best character in all of Pokemon
Can't wait to see Carmine and Keiran again. They are such interesting characters. Keiran especially cause he's definitely having his arc in this DLC as Carmine already had hers in The Teal mask. He's looking full emo with that new hair even😂.
I don’t often comment on RU-vid videos….But I’m extremely excited for this one. Get to bring back some of my favourite Pokémon I collected over the years to join me in this DLC. I’m also excited for new Pokémon to catch and explore this new area. Been playing since 2006 when I was 14. Amazing that how Pokémon games have come along the way!!!
Always happy to see a positive comment like this one. Pokémon has definitely improved the offerings from their DLC compared to Sword and Shield, which is to be expected since that was the first time they ever tried it. The fact that both DLC stories are connected to one another is fantastic. When you consider that the next generation will surely combine the things Game Freak has experimented with recently (new battle system in PLA, wide open world and social links in SV, side-quests in Indigo Disk) there is plenty to look forward to.
New and coming back legendaries will instead be shiny locked: “another poor decision when it comes to GameFreak”, “the Pokémon Company doesn’t care about its fans.” And “baffled” 😢

My mind almost exploded when I saw that you can play as your own Pokemon in this! Now I'm even more hyped for this because I can play as my Shiny Greninja for the first time. 💙🖤❤️
It didn’t look to me like you could play as any Pokémon. It seemed like more of a mini-game with a special selection. I think they would’ve shown off more of the variety if it was truly a “play as any of your Pokémon” situation. Programming that kind of feature seems like it would be insanely complex.
This part is going to be where all the sauce is! I feel like Teal was a little more story-driven so from the looks of it Indigo is all about the action and gameplay. I'm excited!!!
The only thought I had was "I hope some cool new Pokemon are released which would come to Pokemon Unite". For me the main series died after gen 3 but Pokemon Unite still keeps me playing official Pokemon games.
I genuinely don't know what I want to do first! There's just that much content I'm excited to try! I am hyped as HECK for this! And I can't wait to see how Kieran's storyline ends! 🥰
The beggining is the definition of peak area zero theme usage. The lore is what i'm most excited about(besides the legendaries and a new chance to humiliate kieran)

I'm ridiculously excited 🎉😄🥳 Kieran and Carmine are characters i enjoyed. Area zero is so magical and the music is awesome so im glad we're going back and hopefully getting some answers to the story and lore.

Thanks for the Tera Raid glitch. It's been stuck on "Meowscarada used Leaf Storm" for 30 minutes now. The timer ended and I wasn't removed from the battle. Save your games people, before every raid battle.
I just thought I would let everybody know that it is confirmed that they are bringing back every legendary, but excluding the Ultra Beasts, and only the Ultra Beasts. … I’m feeling more and more happy I haven’t bought the DLC yet by the day… They are my favorite Pokémon species… I don’t mean to sound picky, but I just can’t help but be disappointed that I’ll never get to see my Blacephalon’s exploding head with all of these new textures on its body…
@@leahschaffer7646From what the main leaker (with a perfect track record) said, those will still be able to be transferred in from past games. The same can not be said for Ultra Beasts.
Wow this looks great! Love all the Gym Leaders and Teachers interacting with one another and being able to trade with them too! And so many pokemon! This is going to be fantastic!
I can’t wait for the indigo disk, everything I’ve seen looks amazing. Especially the fact we can get old starters from previous games and the extra interactions with the gym leaders and old legendaries too ❤❤❤
Kinda wish Game Freak would stop giving us Pokemon mystery gifts and let us either find them from a puzzle like the Reggies, let us earn the shinies like how they did in B2W2 with the shiny Haxorus and/or have it take place somewhere else how we encountered Darkrai or all the above 😔
