I know this video is a little different than your other get readies with Jessi, but honestly this was sooo nice. It was really like sitting down with your girlfriends and chatting and getting ready together, kinda like we would before all the crazyness happened and we weren't allowed to hang out anymore. I think we can all relate to this content right now, because we're all videochatting with our friends while we get ready to zoom for a work conference too :P

Yes!! It's so refreshing seeing an influencer who is still taking everything seriously. There are so many people who use influencers with bad covid etiquette as excuses for them to also not socially distance and this is just a really nice change of pace knowing no lives were put at risk for this at all. I need more youtubers to subscribe to like that so badly, it seems everyone else is just throwing guidelines out the window. 😭 I'm entirely for collabs like this whenever!

Honestly I feel like the "anti-babies" comments stem from it finally being a little more accepted to be open about not wanting kids. Like yeah, people saying "I want to punch a baby" is extreme lmao and it's tik tok comments so what do you expect. But as someone who does not want kids, it gets so annoying constantly being asked by people who do have kids when I'm having them and if I answer honestly, then being hounded about why I don't want them or being told I'm selfish or my life will never be fulfilling without kids or "you don't know what you want, you'll change your mind eventually." I appreciate that you say it's fine whatever someone wants to do but that is not usually the response people like me get. For some reason people take it so personally when you say you don't want kids so I kinda understand little gen z'ers trying to get a rise out of people by saying stuff like that.

Kerry I have no issue with people not wanting kids and I would never fault someone because of it. I however hate people who desperately hate kids like all of them but act like a dog is the holy grail. I am saddened by the fact that a lot of people are only humane to animals. You can be humane to everyone. I don’t want to have a dog but I don’t hate them and I don’t want to punch or mistreat them at all. They are very cute but not for me.

Bro the comment about gen z hating babies is so accurate. I was born in 2000, so that’s my generation and I love kids and hope to have some one day. But all my friends don’t want kids, saying they hate them. Which is good in the sense that so many women are breaking the stereotype and being independent but it also makes me feel like I’ll be settling down having a family while they’re off travelling and doing cooler things 😭 there’s too much pressure on me either way
