Since I'm not follow you on Instagram, I hope you did wear dress No.2 - don't get me wrong, both dresses are pretty but given that I'm German dress No.1 remind me a bit of a 'Dirndl' like the traditional Bavarian dresses which are nowadays mostly worn at Oktoberfest. So in my eyes dress No.1 is more like a late summer dress in opposite to dress No.2 which is a beautiful allrounder which could be worn on many occasions. I love your hair (not only because I'm a natural redhead too, lol). The currant length of your hair suits you perfectly and I like the look of having your hair down - it's so fluffy and playful. So to be honest, your sleek updo was too strict for my liking, I would have preferred the ponytail as it cuts the sharp sleekness by adding some warm playfulness - but hey, this is just me and you do you boo. That said, I really like your makeup - it's a good look from day to night.
