I'd also like to add that, while fragrance should suit your mood, it should also very much suit the time of day, and here's where the flavor profile and the intensity actually work in tandem. When there's sun outside, a lighter (Eau de Toilette), more citrusy fragrance might work better than a stronger (Eau de Parfum), more woody tone. This is as opposed to a nighttime occasion, where the opposite is true. And I agree with the underwear. While I don't mind wearing woven boxers everywhere and with everything for comfort's sake, I think that because it's your own little secret (until it's not😉🤣), why not wear the absolute wildest colors possible??? How fun it is to wear a conservative suit on the outside and a hand-woven jungle scene with tigers and jaguars and exotic orchids on the inside (Zimmerli and Derek Rose, highly recommend)!!!
Ya, dressing like this works in NYC but anywhere else you will be out of place or over dressed. Also, who wants to wear long sleeves when its 100 degrees outside.
So so true my wife is from Europe.She's been here for about 15 years.In Florida, Florida has to be one of the most undressed states in America.People go out to dinner and flip flops. Every time She dresses up people are staring at her . People just don't take pride in the way they look.Everything is fast and get it and go.

I think I have to agree with you. I personally find it too intense and obnoxious when I smell too much cologne on a guy. It’s way too much. It takes away from the specialness of it. I lived in the Middle East for awhile and they love to “bathe” in it before going out. It’s part of their culture to do so but still. Not for me. I think “less is more”. Women have told me this too.

For be it from me to argue with Tom Ford… but… 😉 If it’s your only or first suit don’t go for black. Dark blue or charcoal grey As many others said, don’t overdo the fragrance guys! Nothing better than when a lady wants to smell your fragrance so she asks and leans in. Wear enough to interest her only
