The Sweet-Treated Pine Plank and Neutralized Titan Alloy will probably be used and will add to the overall Ecto cost, plus Orichalcum for both legendary items. As mentioned by someone else in the comments Mursaat Runestones feel more like the Jade Runestone. So I would not be surprised at all to see something like 250x Mursaat Runestones & 100 each of the Sweet-Treated Pine Plank and Neutralized Titan Alloy for one of the gifts, along with possibly a handful of Amalgamated Rift Essence since they are also sold by the heart vendors.
Unfortunately rifts essences are probably gonna be a component in the new legendaries. I'm just gonna do the 3 weekly convergences for now, you can also do the weekly rifts but I'm just too burnt out from them to do them. FYI don't open the convergence and rift weekly chests if you don't want to have an inventory nightmare.
It's kind of funny watching these videos. The daily list of things to do is basically a full time job description xD Interesting, though I don't have even 1/8 of the time needed to sink into all that. I'll just do my own thing of what I enjoy.
Even as someone who could technically play all day, doing every single daily is starting to get out of reach for me as well. If we add daily metas/world bosses, I don't think I could even manage.
From what I understand, we should be able to make the spear in the next patch (in a bit over 70 days). It'd surprise me they release it (as per their schedule), only for us to not be able to craft it. So maybe we only need the maps from the first 2 parts of this expansion.
I disagree with mystic forge for clovers. 2 ectos vendor are like 2g cheaper if you exclude related currencies. Those related currencies does not have better way to convert into gold anyway. So spening blue shard, wvw claim tickets and magnet shard should not be a big issue. My mystic forge experiense turns to recieve a dirt cheap materials like planks that are pure gold loss (nowhere near to 3g on the imput side) on a way to gamble for clovers.
I hope we don't need the spear, I got it; but salvaged it like a dumb-dumb. I hope it was like the legendary armor, where it needs to be obtained, but not required to make the spear.
I finished the lowland shore and janthir sentri mastery achievements a few days ago then immediately salvaged the helm and the backpack then today I stumbled upon videos saying that I need them for the new legendaries, I wonder how much stupidity they had to use in order to make the helm and the backpack salvageable.

Is the best guess that the Jathir Wilds leggy spear will be account bound? I have the leggy weapon starter set 5 and intend to make Kamohoali'i Kotaki very soon and would like to use it but that's a very bad idea if the new JW leggy spear is account bound and I end up with 2 account bund leggy spears.
My concern is that all the earnt or earnt+crafted leggy items (which have been only trinkets to date I think) are all account bound- Conflux, Aurora, fractal backpack, living seasons amulet etc. The Gen 1 and 3 are not earnt or earnt+crafting just straight crafted so not same as I expect of new spear.
Never listen to whatever the fuck youtubers are saying. I spent 130 mystic coins forging the clovers and got only 19. He said that the chance is 31%. If 31% were true, I should get close to 40 clovers.
Those that want mystic clover...the by far easiest way is to do a weekly raid clear (just a few are enough) & buy them for magnetic shards (& mystic coins ofc) That are 10 per week which masses up and you will have enough to do anything you like ☺️
@@nestorarcilaosorio2457 would not say that 😊 The standard non CM raids (especially wing 1-3, sometimes 4) are not so difficult to do Its only important that people bring proper builds that they are able to handle (just take a dps mech build; you can put the mech skills on autocast and are easily able to do dps or alac dps roles - beware of different equipment! - and there are even decent LI.builds out there that have no kit at all (you can increase with time to 1 kit f.e.) Anyone is able if one has done a bit of research beforehand Muk has a video series of every raid encounter - summarised in a few minutes Anyone has a few minutes to look at it and there are many groups open for newer players, take their time with them and show them the ropes with lots of patience ☺️ Honestly i see a lot more people playing raids when wing 8 comes out and its not so scary at all 🤗 Just stay away from 100 kp CM runs (or CMs at all - those are toxic groups 😆 ) (And keep the decorations from the fights; those are used as kp 😉 ) But remember...strike CMs (not counting HT or Cerus) are more difficult than raids - some even more than raid CMs...
Same as daily cm fractals 2 daily cms without turning in pristines gives 1500 relics needed beside research notes are easy to get with fractal ascended drops 🤷
5 mystic clovers can be purchased using blue prophet shards which all strikes are currently dropping. You earn this currency doing any difficulty strike from Icebrood Saga, End of Dragons, or Secrets of the Obscure. Much easier than raiding and far more casual friendly. The merchant who sells the clovers is located in the Wizards Tower upstairs near the strike portal.
