if the mission last from 3 minutes til 12 you're getting 0.8 gold per 3 minute. as long as you can chain one mission after another it doesn't matter if you did it in 3 minute or 12. if the mission last more then 15 minutes you're actually loosing money, cuz from 15 to 30 you are getting 0.4 gold per 5 minutes. (meaning you can spend 15 minutes and get 0.40 gold or do 6 and 9 minute missions and get 0.44 gold instead. and since you're starting loosing dollars after 10 minutes you'll get even more profit for doing missions quicker). the only reason to drag mission to a full 30 minutes is when you're doing mission you can't really spam. otherwise you're loosing profits.
In order to buy the other roles (Trader/Moonshine, Bounty hunter, Naturalist) it takes a lot of Gold. Madam Nazar gets you cash, but never pays any gold. Because of that I think you should wait for the Collector role, and get Bounty Hunter first. It is the ONLY role that also earns you gold as you do missions. In order to get enough gold for the initial bounty hunter role, you would need to do the main story missions, and stranger missions. 12 minutes is the optimal payout time for Stranger and Bounty hunter missions. You get 0.4 gold every 3 minutes on the mission, up to 12 minutes for 0.32g. After that it's less per time slot, so it's more profitable to finish at 12 minutes, then pick up another mission. Cheers
It’s a great game. True entertainment and it let’s the player choose how sweaty he wants the game to be (PVP vs PVE). Open world provides lot of funny moments like when trying to throw a dynamite in from a window without noticing there was window glass and exploding yourself in the process 😂
Nice! You forgot to tell them to run everywhere at first to increase stamina, let your horse follow behind you. I maxed out health and stamina by level 14 by doing that and shooting people with a bow down at thieves landing👍

The top things your gonna wanna buy is a Springfield rifle, pump shotgun or any of your choice, a scofield or lemat revolver trust me those are easily the best to choose from and get a decent horse that you will stick with without needing to constantly buy a new one. I'm lvl 148 and have every role maxed and trust me these items and his method will keep you up to date.

Brand new player here. Just started yesterday. Dont have friends to play with cus im 40 and none of my buddy plays video games anymore and just finish a couple of story mission with randos. First experience suck but the last one the randos are very helpful. I wish more strangers online are mature and helpful like the last team i played with. Tip for any player. If u buy ammo in the catalog and then u gotta ammo no problem.just go to the train station or collect at ur camp. Note it will slow down at some point just stop and buy more in a bit
Throw a lasso at a deer, walk towards it and kill it with F. 3 star guaranteed(for 3 star deers) Also Antique bottles are also guaranteed so pick all Tarot cards and antique bottles
Great guide honestly i started a brand new account recently and bought the 25 gold bars got straight into this and with 2x collectors rewards and some treasure maps i’m almost at 2500 dollars and level 17 and i just made this account yesterday and i’ve only done one full tarot card run
you should buy bounty hunter before collector, because it also pays in gold while giving you a fair bit of cash. Go bounty hunter, collector, trader, moonshiner, naturalist

I noticed that the colour of the coat in the picture was changed to dark red. I'm guessing to make it look more festive. I hope they don't change it back to brown because dark red looks way better. ( Or at least give us an option to change the colour manually )
Getting more rewards for taking longer makes some sense when you consider that it means you're spending more time at the mercy of other players. That's the only logic I can think of behind it.

Hunting buffalo & deer is the easiest imo. Collect 10 venison & 20 prime beef joins & that's 16, plus the skins. You can also kill rodents to add onto that. I suggest hunting right outside Blackwater on the great plains. Kill & go to butcher. I made $200 in no time.

The horrible thing about collector is, I sometimes grind then stop in the middle of getting cards and then when im at a location I already was but forgot im searching for a long time just to give up and find out I already had it.
I seriously don’t understand how any one has continued to play this game. After around 70 hours I had done everything in the game. The only think that ever comes out is re released content with discounts.

collectors its the best role to grind money i used to do it but i got so bored so now i combine trader, moonshiner, and naturalist this one just to get the legendary pelts. im no where near to make as much on the collector but this is more fun.
The og method for me before any roles in beta was do the kerosene,tar and greed mission and go hunting for 30 minutes than go sell your pelts to the butcher in Valentine than complete the mission 50 from mission and 30-100 from hunting

I play read dead online, and I am suffering to make money. But I am still having tons of fun. And I invested into bounty hunter role. Thus I am suffering even more. But I am still having fun playing the game.
I really don’t understand the people that say there’s no rush to complete the bounty missions. If it’s .24 for 9 minutes and .48 for 30 minutes then you should rush to the next one. That’s basic math. (This is taking into account your doing one after the other) Granted dropping them at the wagon takes you away from the bounty board sometimes…but still

Man I wish I took more time to beat this game slowly instead of grinding like a mad man . within 1 month I achieved rank 100 and own all weapons and everything I wanted now i am just grinding to save for what i dont know . Red dead is a great game but is lacking content if I spent that much time in gta I'd still only be maybe 20% through the game and side missions but as of now I have become bored with it . It took me 3 years to become bored of gta and red dead only a month !
