My dentists claims that a risk of bone transplantation around living teeth exists and better to wait that the tooth fall out then provocating a premature tooth loss because of failed bone crafting attempt. Nevertheless I wait always about any documentation on recession therapy with bone transplantation. In implantation therapy typically a artifical (animal) bone matrix is mixed with patient blood extractes. Mostly the concrete generates solid living new bone. It is said, that patients bone mixed in, enhanced the healing potence of such a bone concrete. Best should be cortical bone harvested from law jaw angle. And for the difficult recession therapy this living patient own cortical bone should be the best choice to generate a new alveolar structure. But clinical documentations about this approach are nearly impossible to find. It looks like a theoretical treatment idea with nearly no practical usage. Some dentists show also modelling of standard implantation bone concrete around living teeth. It seems to work. But X-ray decumentation on the success are nowhere available. So it is a pity, that recession theraby with bone recreation is negleted in practice. And most dentist flap the gum away to get an open operation field for modelling the bone concrete around the teeth. Doing this with pinhole technique would be more "minimal invasive", but perhaps more difficult to process. Open it, treat it and suture it close again may be more practical than a blind fly operation through pinholes. But there is an urgend need to find an safe, established and common used method for recession therapy with bone recreation. But nearly nobody care about it. All common methods are only "Gum Liftings" without alveolar reconstruction. This is valid for tradition sutured methods like with pinhole technique as well. To bad ...

Me too.!! I need this treatment also just afraid of dentists. Had a few not so good visits to the dentist so I am apprehensive yet I know I need help and very soon.!!! I have leaky gut and believe that is the cause of my teeth deteriorating so fast.

Don't brush frequently.. Brushing should be done only twice daily. Once in the morning and once in the night before sleeping. In between meals and snacks, you should do warm salt water rinsing. Water picking is also must in the night before sleeping after brushing.

@@ChegandoFluente .. Mix 1 tablespoon salt (Himalayan Pink Salt will be more helpful) in 100-150 ml (1 cup) warm water. Swiss it in mouth for 30 sec and spit it out. Do it after each meals, snacks and brushing ur teeth. Keep Salt near ur wash basin or bathroom for reminder.

@Sabina Walker mmm I don’t have a bad breath problem, my issue is that for years I asked every dentist I saw what was causing my lower gums to recede sii oh badly, and they simply kept telling me that I was brushing too hard instead of looking into my issue, but I will definitely check it out!! Besides, the masseter muscle’s job is chewing, not pulling down on your lower lip; there are no less than three muscles on the chin, and we don’t know which one Dr. Nemeth was referring to, didn’t that occur to you before spouting out your thoughtless answer? @@ReinRaus it’s uncommon to see someone acknowledge their mistakes… it takes a truly mature person to do that, and you just did… it also prompts others to acknowledge their shortcomings too (I do anger extremely easily)… you have my respect.

Pinhole technique is fairly new, so many doctors don't do it yet. However lasting results haven't shown to be favorable. Give it another 10 years... see where technology goes then.

@@charlierae8266 how do you know Charlie, I ask because I need to get looked at soon as I have receding gums and they are going bad quickly but I don’t have good insurance it only covers like $500 so I’m not real hopeful.

@@samanthas3909 In part it is. Actually a coworkers wife was doing it and I thought it was funny to hear. I googled it and found its a thing that numerous sources were recommending. One side benefit has been like washing your hands in soap to kill off covid I havent had any issues with it so far and thats 3 years now. Who knows? Sorry for the late reply.

Also - I don’t have any sensitivity or symptoms of gingivitis - think it is genetic and also have been a hard brusher - recently changed to light brushing
