@@WiFiFoFum yep, I bought it as a Dr. Dray recommendation for an oil cleanse, but it was too sticky and thick for my face, and it was hard to remove. I was taking a bath one day and decided that since it was harder to remove, it might be great for shaving my legs cause shaving cream always dries out my skin and washes off. I apply a very little bit all over, and it is so moisturizing and has the cleanest shave I've ever been able to get.

I had strawberry legs a few months ago and started panicking bc it looked SO bad and I had no idea what it was (constantly wore tight leggings for a long time, never used moisturizer on body), googled a bunch of remedies, what ended working was actually the first thing I tried: slathered on either cerave from the tub or vanicream to wet legs after each shower. So cheap and it worked so fast!! Back to normal now 👍🏼

I've had the worst, WORST ingrown hairs after shaving, beginning in my twenties... I started using conditioner instead of shaving cream about three years ago and it has been a lifesaver! So glad to hear you mention it! I highly recommend.

I use Tend Skin solution for ingrown hairs (this has acetylsalicylic acid in it - would love to hear your thoughts on their products?) and then I use Cerave rough and bumpy skin on my legs after shaving and find this combo helps. I will definitely stop storing my razor in the shower now! 😊 Thank you for this video Dr Dray - very informative as always! 🦋

So..i have light medium skin stone but my legs are pasty see-through white they do not tan at all, and i have black course body hair. I tried everything including the tips you mentioned 😒. I for a long time i avoided wearing shorts, skirts n dresses but this yr i gave up. I decided that I was going to rock my strawberry legs, no one is perfect ok! I don't care anymore.

If you have dark and thick or kinky curly hair it will never really fo away. You have to exfoliate often and wax. The dots are not keratosis pilaris (keratin issue), folliculitis or ingrown hairs (the dots would be painful). The dots are the shafts of hair follicles. The more you wax it, the more you damage it, the less hair is produced, and the lighter it looks. The more you exfoliate also helps to make the hairs ready for wax. I would still use an aha/urea product for maintenance.

imperial diamond this so so true ! I have dark curly hair and it’s genetic, after I started laser and exfoliating along with moisturizing. I saw a big difference. I did not have ingrown hairs or kp, my skin was not bumpy.

What if there are no red bumps though, like it just looks like black dots only? Would that still be strawberry legs or just folliculitis? I had the same issue. It just means you have coarse hair. I got mine lasered off and the problem is gone.

I’m not sure if it’ll bother you but you should try growing out your hair a little more before you shave. Some times if you shave while your hair is still short it can cause irritation and just cut the hair off at a really thick point. If you grow it out I find it a bit easier to shave and it causes less irritation with those black dots less visible as well. Also exfoliating before you shave might help too

I struggled a lot with that when I shaved my legs (I never changed my razor that frequent), so I am now epilating. Less waste and no more strawberry legs. Oh, and of course I exfoliate and moisturize.

I’ve been watching you ALL DAY! Thank you for your honest videos! I don’t have the ability to go to a dermatologist so these videos are everything to me! I think I have this condition, but when I heard you describe the 3 types none of those fit me! I have red tinted dots around my hair follicles on the bottom of my tibia but they aren’t raised, ingrown or puss filled. If you were too feel my leg with your eyes closed you’d never know they are there! I wear compression socks almost everyday for work. Could that be why? Thank you for your help!

I'd recommend purchasing a reusable razor. Mine cost me around 20 bucks and it has lasted for two years. Razor blades are really cheap too you can find a box of 100 for less than 10 dollars. I change the razor blade every week.

@@katxo9337 I also combine it with salicylic acid (aveeno lotion), urea 10% (Cetaphil lotion), and I use a salicylic acid body wash (also by Cetaphil). I also use a body scrub to exfoliate my skin every few days, and it really makes a big difference.

Can I use it like this? I really need to know, 1. CreaVe SA body wash 🧴 (because I think it does both exfoliating and washing?) instead of (CereVe hydrating body wash) 2. CreaVe moisturizing cream and then 3. CreaVe SA cream for bumpy and dry skin I have really dry and sensitive skin so I wonder if it’s okay to use both SA body wash and cream on my body for my KP.

I wish you do proper hair moisturizing methods and hair products reviews too. I know you said you don't care how your hair looks, I don't either but I am in need of good, healthy moisturizing products for my hair. My hair is very dry, brittle and frizzy. I also suffer from dandruff and have to use dandruff shampoos which dries my hair further.

Didn't matter if I shaved, used cream, epilated, exfoliated, it did nothing to improve the strawberry legs. However, using 40% Urea foot cream has already made a massive difference to my legs within two weeks.

I had kp for almost my entire life. When I was little I use to think I would never get a bf because he won't like my kp. People always ask whats on my skin and I felt like I had to hide it. I been with the same guy for ten years now. Im glad idc about kp but it still sucks period.

I’ve never had this problem before until last week, and the only thing that has changed is that I had actually gone from not using any body moisturiser at all to using the Cerave Hydrating Body lotion religiously after every shower. And now my legs are covered in these little red dots and I have some on my chest, things and arms as well. I am very confused and quite upset by it tbh. I’ve bought the Revolution skincare AHA cleanser and body lotion and started using that today - fingers crossed! 🤞

Can we use neutrogena body clear body wash and cerave SA cream together as both contain salicylic acid so won't it over dry the skin ?

I’ve had strawberry legs for 10 years ! Tend skin and Cera Ve SA lotion hasn’t worked ! Also tried the First Aid Beauty KP scrub and no luck! Any recommendations!? I also still get it even if i done shave ! Pls Help!

I get bumpy dry legs sometimes but ever sense I started putting CeraV on them it hasn't been a big issue.

I have KP. Mine isn’t bumpy I just have red dots that don’t itch. It’s just a cosmetic issue for me and I hate it. Is there anything I am doing throughout my day that could be causing it? Like eating dairy or meat (I’ve heard those trigger it)? I really don’t know what products to use cause everyone says something different. My dermatologist said I can’t get rid of it...:/ can “tend skin” help? I saw on Pinterest a girl used that and it went away. Please help!

Can you talk about waxing? I found that once the hair stars growing problems begin...also, i found that color of skin seems dull, red on some places, puprlish on other..anyway tnx!
