🤙🏼⚡ *I'm a little late to this video* 😂⚡ Split setup, direct drive for that simple use any wheels without belt tensioning or gear drive greasing... and nice free roll 👌🏼👌🏼 I think a thin riser would be great to balance out the height, recommended when splittin angles with wedging/de-wedging creates a height difference. Nice wide deck, I do prefer 2wd but this 4wd is a good option for people who like/need it. Their TKP trucks are so good lookin and seem to be well built. Is that Chase ridin like a BOWSE, always killin it 🔥🔥 Acedeck are consistently puttin out some great boards, nice range of options
Acedeck came out the gate as an innovative company as well as making serious boards. Even though this Ares X3 is different from theor lineup, it looks like a board we've been needing. I've used the Revel Board direct drive 4WD Eskate kit and that was decent, so id imagine this is a step or 2 above that.
Yeah I have gen 1 Onsra DD. I wouldn't use anything less than the 115mm rubber wheels or 120mm Cloudwheels. Your motor casings are gonna take a serious beating! Would love to try this dual DD though.
2 things - 1. it would've been great if they made the truck a bit shorter so you would be closer to the ground 2. It would've been nice if they coalbed with Avenue and slapped on a suspension truck in the Avenue style but maybe more advanced to do a better job on absorbing and then we would;ve got a real street killer
you have valid concernes, fortunatelie I tried this on my DIY board and the motors are just ok 😊 I did not add an avenue baseplate just normal truck size drop thrue mounted, right now if you jump on your X3 an max lean to the side you wil se at least 1 cm of clearence from the board and the motor and I have 4 mm and never ever had an issue so it can be done they just have to want it 😂
While not 4wd but the electric sportster by bustin boards have all the experience on making non electric long boards so there electric ver has all that you would want in a long board feel but made into an eboard . The sportster will probably give this board a run for its money probably beat it since bustin boards have more experience fine tuning ther longboat feel and tuning the trucks to perfection.
I like the way You talking and showing boards. Looks like acedeck are more advanced, better made and defienetley way better looking then evolve I'm using. However I'm worries about carbon construction. I haven't had chance to ride one, I know its more stiff then bamboo and I was thinking , is it going to brake or split after few major scratches on carbon deck ??? Fantastic video, defienetley want to buy one ❤❤❤❤
I’m still busy with uni work sooo, they take care of most of the filming and I focus on presenting and editing.(But of course I still ride all the boards we review otherwise that’ll be disingenuous)
