I never had any idea that was lava rock. I'm familiar with the rock and the dirt in Hawaii. So that lava must be something completely different. I heard one reason there are not basements is because the foundations don't need basements. There is not a frost level in winters that will compress and expand under a house every season. Basements and crawl spaces are for protection against frost level problems. But another reason there is no basements is because of a layer called crackle that is very difficult to excavate. I never considered until now that the crackle is a volcanic rock formation.

Beautiful house. Thanks for this. I've been wondering what the sunset and view is like from there. I live on the other side of those hills, about a 5 minute drive to the McDonald Ranch front entrance. I love living here, it is everything you say it is. Happy Holidays!
$1.8 million and no backyard? yeah I do not think that is a good deal and I will never understand why people would be so stupid to pay that much money to live in a City that is really exists because of gambling.
Lauren literally said this is a property for people, like myself, who are looking for a maintenance free home. Not everyone want a "yard". Personally, I love the 2 deck spaces on the 2nd and 3rd levels. They are amazing outdoor living spaces! This is exactly the type of home I'm looking for when I retire in a couple of years 👍🏻🎉🎉
I would have no chance to move to LV. But I subscribed to your channel because you speak so elegantly and clearly to listen and understand, easily. If you were an TV anchor or reporter, you probably make your audiences happy.

Where would the elevator be located in this plan if they'd put one in???? I keep trying to figure it out. 🤔 The storage closet on the 1st floor then the storage closet by the powder room on the 2nd and directly into the master bedroom??? Could one be put in later?? 🤔

OH my I really like that Townhome. One of the few I have liked, not sure about the stairs are you get older. Love the view. What is with all the gold fixtures these days, I thought they went out in the 70s. Backyard is a bit small but the deck makes up for it. No place for a pool.

These are townhomes, so very small yards, although I have seen some with small pools or you can enjoy the pool at the MacDonald Highlands clubhouse. These floor plans also had elevator options, so that would be a nice feature to have as you get older.
