Idk they patched my ability to save the game so I dropped the game.... Also deleted all my saves..... I had 125 hours and was just getting to act 3...... I literally will not play game again.... Sadly was good but cannot risk that big of a waste of time. Kinda like trying to run games with my family.... They always "forget" and make plans.... Can't play a game I payed money for on both cases! 🤣 I love life.......

People who worry on missing whatever content in the Wilderness (Act I): You can do pretty much everything you want in the Wilderness region after you attacked Raphael at the bridge and then upon entering the Mountain Pass you'll be teleported to camp where he awaits you (as shown on the video). Hence, no need to follow the exact order as shown on the video but still very useful glitch and NOT yet patched as of Hotfix 16 on Steam. Edit: My Raphael was 865 HP and had a pretty low AC chance on him but I was still able to knock him out by attacking him using everyone at my camp. Also, for people wondering what to do afterwards, just go to sleep and the silence spell will be gone by morning with Raphael still chilling at your camp.

Yeah, cool, you also loot 1400 XP by Raphael's death But you should be aware - leaving the first location, crash site will end several quests and encounters like: Deep gnome on the mill Flaming fists in Vokin rest Githyanki near the mountain pass And of course the main quest with tieflings, druids and goblins So be sure to do it before leaving the location and avoid places where Raphael can spawn Also after hitting Raphael you shouldn't go on a long rest or it'll trigger cutscene

I gave this to Shadowheart, alongside the shield you get from the head Shar Priestess, and the Amulet of Greater Health. By endgame she had 24 AC and nearly 140 hp. She was practically untouchable, meaning she could heal everyone without worry, while everyone else swept the board.

To evade the problem of the Tiefling die in the grove make sure to NOT aproach any places where Raphael may appear untill you are ready like: on the destroyed bridge north to the ruined village, on the mountain near the grove where you can collect the spider eggs and in the Selune temple in the Underdark (idk if there are any other places). Once I tried to evade Raphael just for fun and did every quest in Act 1 before meeting him. If you do this you will get the armor basically "in Act 2" but it's still great

@MrFrmartin as you walk towards the blighted village from the gate, before the side entrance to the one tunnel with the goblins, there's an area to the left with no greenery on it. You can jump up a small ledge, and it'll lead you to a climb wall.

Not sure if you can do this on honor mode. Once silence goes away (after dropping him down to 700ish health), his dialogue starts immediately.

You can finish every quest in act 1. No worries. Just shoot him at the bridge and that'll set everything in motion. After that, you should just play the way you want until you get to act 2.

For everyone thinking about this just remember that leaving the crash site area triggers/progresses certain questlines. I think it kills Halsin if he is in the goblin camp and the Druids finish the right of thorns

@@aylinlin1290 Bro, the one HM playthrough I did with randoms on discord, the host had that armor, and at one point during act 3 my character alone became hostile to every NPC in the game including everyone at camp except like shadowhart. We had to kill half the camp, and I spent the rest of the playthrough abusing the freecast glitch to stay invisible.

I mean awesome that you‘re having fun but I am completely baffled where you found 500-700 hours of spare time since release. 700 hours is around 20% of all time since release, meaning you would have played the game around 4.5 hours daily on average for 5 months straight.

You MIGHT be able to avoid this if you do the side quest where you find out the shadow druid connection. Dispose of them or convince kagha to betray them. She will then await for helsing. I haven't done this yet so keep a save before doing it.

I do this every run but a question if anyone knows the answer, can i go through mountain pass, get armor and return? Or will it mess up quest lines. I always wait till i finish act 1 and then have it in act 2

This works still, but be careful! If you killed the goblin camp and the tieflings are packing up to go, if you go to the mountain pass instead of resting at camp the tieflings wont be at your camp and there will be no party, you'll miss some chances at romancing certain characters, but hey, you'll get a cool armor XD

@bmastin1005 in some ways. The Grove was sealed, the tieflings died, Minthara wants to kill me and Halsin's a corpse. This is because going into the mountain pass ends all current quests.

@bmastin1005 yes. I did it during my Necro-Durge Redeemed Honour Mode run. Be warned though, in Honour mode, Raphael has 865 hp. Fortunately, Shadowheart can cast Silence infinitely without using spell slots at camp just be careful not to initiate dialogue with the Devil until you snatch the armor.

They patched this sadly. When silenced, the whole party will turn hostile against whoever cast the spell. When attacked, it immediately kicks you out of camp and onto the road.

Not working anymore. Whole camp becomes hostile. Later tested it in the last light inn - whole tavern became hostile aswell

Raphal also shows at your camp in act 2 if you simply avoid areas where his encounter triggers - the bridge, the spider egg, the crossroad in the grove that leads to Alfira and the harpies

I havent done this, but i assume you can put it off as long as you want provided you dont step into any of raphaels spawn points. He will always show up at camp if you try to go to the creche/shadow cursed lands and havent triggered his cutscene; it forces you to long rest so you have to talk to him. Make sure to look up his spawn points, theres a bunch lol

Actually once you prevent the initial dialogue you’re free to do whatever you want and he won’t show up again until the transition to Act 2

@@NolliLuck remove Astorian from party, send party in, switch to Astorian, pickpocket. Done. You can do this with literally every NPC in the game. A fun one is with the Gnome guarding the rune powder. There’s even special dialogue for it.

You cannot pickpocket his armor. I just got the armor 10 minutes ago and tried pickpocketing him. It's not an option.

Seriously not worth it, you loose out on way more by having all the tieflings die, which will happen when you go to the mountain pass early as far as i know

Yes you can. I just did it last night. But I lost Halsin because he was found dead in his cell. It's a choice: Loose Halsin and get the armor or free Halsin and not getting the armor. I chose the latter. It's a really nice thing having Lae'zel as a tank in front.

Doubt it. When you steal Voss' silver sword you won't get another later in the game even though the dialogue plays, so I'd assume it works the same way

I did get two. After getting it in act 1 from Voss I got it again in Act 3 by killing him at Sharess Caress.

I know I’m commenting this everywhere but, you can get as many as you want with cheat engine. Which imo it’s the same thing, if you are exploiting you might as well just be using cheat engine.

@@Petemossfunguy I'd say there's a difference. 1: Console players can't really use cheat engines, so their only option for getting things early is exploits if they exist. 2: Exploits use game mechanics in a very clever way to get what they want, and usually take a bit of skill or at least some understanding and knowledge to actually pull off. Cheat engine requires download cheat engine, and nothing else really.

I’m not sure, but you don’t need any quest to go to the house of hope anyway. Just buy / pickpocket the items needed and make the circle

So notice how he said non lethal attacks yah? Works the same way with knocking out minthara and her appearing later. And you don't need raphael for literally anything btw. You can do astarions and all the other quests without him by just going to the spots needed in act 3 with the appropriate character. He just may not pop up and talk crap in act 2 is all. So even if you ended him right there in the camp it'd be fine.

Just a heads up, I a current patch we tested this inhonor mode. We don't know if it was because we had an oath breaker in the camp or the animal companions but half the camp will turn hostile from your actions attacking Raphael.

@eclairdawnlight8470 not sure if you did it yet, but once you make him dissappear in your first encounter with him, you are free to complete all the quests in act 1. So, for example, if you completed everything in act 1 after encountering him, you can venture to another area to continue the next act. Once you do that, it'll send you to your camp immediately and he should be there.

It’s upsetting me that every time we find a super cool way to do something Larian patches it. You can’t pick up the selune chest anymore. Now you can’t cheese Cazzador with sunlight anymore he’ll just keep healing. Like why do they keep ruining the thing that makes their game so neat and unique?

They patch it because companies hate people having fun in singleplayer games. Yes I know BG3 can be multiplayer but I feel like more people play it solo.

Idk, it's something that devs industry wide are doing and it's incredibly frustrating man, I guess there has just been a mentality shift cause a good example of it is how cheat codes are just a relic of the past. Idk if they see these exploits as messing with their "artistic vision", but damn most people using exploits are doing it on their 2nd or beyond playthroughs, and many have good reasons to use exploits, like not having alot of time in the day to play games due to kids, work and responsibilities. I'm waiting for this conversation to start becoming a bigger topic in the industry, cause I want the focus to be firmly on fun in games again.
