PLEASE play that slide, shredding it, just like this, no matter where you hang your hat but for sure when you're in south florida again, holy schmidtt....listened to this 100 times, and spread the news too !!! Did we just hear what we just heard?!?!?! PLAY IT AGAIN and AGAIN,. I've got tears, I ain't foolin'.
Oh, damn it all... sonovabitch!! I just realized these guys were a tribute band!! (OOPS!!!) They know their shit, to be sure!! I was somewhat misinformed when I came to this video page. Laugh all you want, but it sure explains a lot to me. I hope to see these guys go far, they are damn good!!
Can't say enough about how great these guys are. You must go see them for yourself to believe it. 2nd time I've seen them in Williamsport, Pa. Astounding. Price was reasonable, show fantastic. 2 hr. 15 min. Of pure Zep. Heaven!! A must see if you love classic rock like I do! Feb. '22.
Just seen them in Tn. They rocked the place. The cool thing is that, they are fans, like you and me and just so happen to be studio musicians. Performed Led Zep note for note. Awesome group of fans playing favorite Zep tunes...
I was at this show. These guys are OUTSTANDING! Talented, personable, and having a lot of fun doing what they're doing. Go see them! We're seeing them again next week.
Anyone know if they're playing this currently? I've become obsessed with this song in the past year or so, when I stumbled upon the Black Crowes/Jimmy Page version and was blown away.
I saw Page/Crowes twice in 1999 & 2000. 2000 show was great but Worcester '99 was intense. I was 14 that year & I remember when they started playing it, I was able to sneek my way up pretty close to the stage for most of the song. Jimmy's live guitar playing has always been with me. This is a great job by these cats.
These guys are awesome, but this sure as hell isn't Led Zeppelin. The only way they'd get away with that type of thing is if they'd try and put something out (like on the radio) so nobody would be able to actually SEE them. The vocalist is in some ways better (I think) than Robert Plant. Plant live seemed to struggle for some reason; it was if he couldn't express his vocals the same way. This dude seems to have no problems at all. He sounds really great and competent, too.
