13 reasons why is a really controversial tv show. Many people are saying that it glorifies suicide but it doesn't. They full on show how she kills herself and it portrays it in a painful and scary way so in my opinion it doesn't glorify it at all, it does the opposite. I do have to warn you though, make sure you don't watch the last 2 episodes late at night or if you aren't feeling that well xx
read the book it is diff but so good and watch the show at the same time! it's sooooooo good and very true to itself, you'll get hooked. I cried every episode lol.
I basically just started watching it like: okay lets give it a go, the book is better anyway(because I had already read it). But it was soo good! I mean the book was good too, but they did such a good job! Love the look and I was hoping that you'd do a tutorial! :)

A lot of people love 13 reasons and a lot of People hate it, I would check it out I guess your opinion depends on how you feel towards some themes in the show, also I love this look so much I'm in love with those earrings 🍊
13 Reasons Why approaches suicide and mental health issues the same way Kendall Jenner and Pepsi approached their extremely distasteful police brutality commercial. I hope you get the gist. People that enjoy "bad" TV (i.e., Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Revenge) seem to really love it. I realize I sound really bitter, but it's the truth. If you watch it, you'll see what I mean. But to be fair, I like to watch bad TV sometimes. Her actual suicide scene in 13 Reasons Why truly put pain in my heart, and I am not one who is easily upset. It depends on your personal preference. Also, you look fab as always, girl! Work!!
13 reasons why is problematic but idk what u mean by "bad" tv since thats entirely subjective. For example, i think greys anatomy is shit but most ppl would prob disagree - would that make it "bad" tv?
You are completely right in the sense that what I think is shitty TV might be amazing to someone else. But shows like 13 Reasons Why, The Vampire Diaries, or shows on The CW in general are generally poorly written, vaguely intelligent, and quite honestly, just *mega* corny. There is a very specific and similar vibe between shows like Gossip Girl and Revenge (for example) which make them fall into that category of "bad" TV. Basically, they're not necessarily written with sophistication and tend to be quite shallow with bouts of depth here and there, which is *not* a bad thing. Those shows are specifically and strategically catered to a certain demographic - as Grey's Anatomy, as mentioned, is catered towards people who love that very niche, medical-drama plot. Chances are people who watch Grey's also love House, CSI, Bones, etc., and chances are you, a person who thinks Grey's is shit, would also think House is shit. I kind of went off course there. Hopefully that made sense. Anyways, I noticed your icon is a hijabi! Ramadan Mubarak to you if you are Muslim :)
If you're a very sensitive person in general or especially triggered to subjects such as suicide, self harm and r*pe I wouldn't watch 13 reasons why as it could be harming and hard to watch but if you want to watch be mindful it's confronting read the trigger warnings!! The book in my opinion is better xxx love you amy
don't watch it!!!! complete waste of time honestly. pointless show. if u wanna waste ur time it's perfect for that but it's just full of drama and people crying .. wouldn't recommend it
