In this video I'm making lavender bags out of fabric scraps. It's the perfect sewing projects for a beginner. You can make the bags for yourself or as a gift for a friend, it's a good hostess gift! All you'll need is some dried lavender, rice and scrap fabric, preferably cotton or linen. You can add lace or other ribbons, whatever you feel like doing.
I'll show you how to cut the fabric for the bags. How to sew lavender bags and how to make the lavender filling using only lavender and rice. The rice doesn't have to be any particular kind, I'm using a short grained one, because that is what I had in my kitchen.
