Here's a little tip. Instead of using rustic floor etc wich cost 2 wood use the shack floors they cost 1 wood. Just a wood saving tip for those caves 😊

I have never seen any minerals regenerate, and I always recover the wood by destroying all scaffolding as soon as I'm done pilfering so it's not related to that. Not sure if the bug ever got fixed but one of my earlier worlds tells me "can't build any more of this item" for map markers even if I destroy some, so I quit using them and instead have a text file per seed number with coordinates and notes of good caves or other interesting landmarks. Easy enough to refer to the notes, plus then you can also know exactly which direction to go from wherever you are even when you can't scroll far enough to see the map markers on-screen. And you can note more than one feature of a cave, like if it has a copy of the blastcore crab endless respawn room in it in addition to lots of ruby or whatever else. I also fire up a sandbox copy of each seed and fly to go exploring, note the coordinates, and then go there directly in survival (can also preview what the caves have in them / loot caves / wolf caves, and note that as well) saves hours even over the flying machine tip. And you can easily fly-scout those ridiculously tall spires with chests on top, too, to know ahead of time if it's worth climbing them. The flying machine doesn't float high enough to see those. Now I guess I will go load up some of the antique worlds and see if anything regenerated, and if the marker thing is fixed. Thing is I don't remember exactly which one was bugged out. And they may have fixed it from happening but not retrofixed in worlds where it already happened.

o building those stairs on your balloon to steer is crazy, thanks, I didn't know that yet. You just have to build in such a cave, you come across so much good stuff, and you don't have to go to your home base every time.

Hey Crafty! Will like to see a follow up to the caves respawning it's resources if possible in the future to confirm that removing all builds does make it regain it's resources.

and build nice secret passageways, which is fun when you play with someone. He will think that would be cool if he finds a secret room with good stuff

I currently have 4 stacks of ruby, a full large chest of obsidian slabs, a full chest of brightcore, and a full chest worth of wood!

One more question. Do you have to remove everything you build in cave or just stuff near where you farming from? Thanks

Sucks we're so limited on how many markers we can have. I met the limit apparently and I had to go back break some of previous markers. Great tips though.

I did that wrong yesterday. I'll have to go fix that pickaxe 😂 and I've had the basic of basic flying "hoverboard" and use a long block to turn it and it's worked out alright. 😊 And can't stand the stamina bug. TY 😊

thanks to your essence tricks im dong fine now with mining in a cave. and yeah its super effective! now im gonna try that simple ship. and yeah i also just discover there are lot of dessert area and the ice area too.!! i tough at first that we all have that single icymountain but as i explore i discoverd things. over all another useful tips!!! will try not to leave anything i build inside a cave and test if the cave really refresh thanks again sir crafty

I tried using a pickaxe with 3 damage and then another with 3 luck today and it was only dropping 2 ruby every time.

Use map markers sparingly. I was on a server they spammed them all over and I tried placing one it said there were too many of them

Curious, what do you do when the game no longer let's you place markers? I haven't been able to place down a marker for at least a few weeks now even after destroying the ones I had.

since lego is crap at explaining.. how to add a marker on a map ? :D btw ill try 2luck 1damage for my luck pickaxe ;) will let you know, how it went ;) btw Iv been using similar ship concept, just without flex foundation as it used to be to heavy to have an effect of a light weight on it. Its after recent updates, the airships became easier to control, just by walking on the wings of it :D (if its not to heavy) Nice to see, that steps do the trick on flex foundation! Dry Valey villages are prob the worst, jsut because of its requirement to get , I think 45 cut rubby to max 10 levels :D I only done 1 cause of cool looking location(the rock with a hole) :D
