In NJ we call them circles, i.e. the 'Marlton Circle'. Many of them have now been changed to intersections with traffic lights, including the 'Marlton Circle'. This circle was probably one of the largest circles I've ever seen. It joins Rt 70 and 73 in South Jersey, as well as some smaller roads.

roundabouts make mid-sized intersections much more efficient. there's nothing much else to say on it. you know an intersection needs a roundabout when you're at a 4-way stop and there's lines of cars at each stop sign. very inefficient. back in the early 2000s that intersection on the way up to horizon drive had a bunch of traffic, that was one of the first places I remember they installed the roundabout, nowadays you wouldn't even think there was a lot of traffic at that spot.

Yep! Those traffic signals on Horizon were a nightmare!

I really want to move there, been wanting to for quite a while now. But me wife is hesitant because #1 her parents are still living and doesn't want to leave them #2 she tells me it's a blue state, we are conservatives. But I think it looks beautiful there slower pace of life. I'm retired, my wife has 2 more years to go. My biggest fear is by the time she retires and we convince her parents to move with us, the housing market will be to hight. We live in North Hollywood and I hate it here. So we decided to pay you guy a visit next year to see if she likes it....lol so I guess we'll see. Thx for the great vids

Not so "Blue" here on the Western Slope. That's more Denver and the front range. That said, we have many friends of all persuasions! It comes down to just being good humans : ). Thanks for watching!
