GNerd never forgets to dance to the beat. Ballet moves and high difficulty tight rope moves are hard to do but sometimes all the dancing gets lost in trying to do a bunch of stunts.
and just to clarify the importance of steps everything in your feet are all steps. Gliding is planting a step on one foot will floating a step on the other. Sliding is the usage of ball and heel in pivoting your steps and making them appear to slide aacross the floor. spinning is simply planting a step and making it rotate in place or if u doing rotation with your glides or slides making them float in it. THis is the reason our feet are so good because we step which teaches use everything

A lot of our young guys need this period of focus on musicality in order to perform and entertain on beat . In the early 2000's hardly anyone was on beat intentionally, now everyone is. RU-vid viewers are just seeing the progress in action. 6 years ago you would have been begging these niggas to stay on beat. Rico taught me that early in my dance career tho.
We need to start supportin each others styles with more detail so all this city to city crap can end. I don't like battlin anymore becuz a battle should have trash talk but it should involve the conceptual designs of every dancer's individual style asit embodies the style of a jooker or turfer or flexer or whatever. Thats how you bring life to dance then crush your opponent. More dancers will arrive and evolve. I should have said all of this when I judged D&G battle but hey thats life
Indeed I did. through deep kundalini meditation and exercise through yoga. I am very much aware of Shakti and have through the illuminating light. I am free and 1 with shaktipat. it's a very vibrant but intensively invigerating feeling to have constant vibrations throughout my physical being at Will. Helps with dance as well
To get back up on topic like @yellaman412 said. Dmonte gon have to let go of that stopping and walking off in the middle of the song. Its not good ethic. It caused the crowd to motivate and get behind G-Nerd cuz he remained focused on smashing the floor. Don't wallow in your home field advantage no matter where u from. If spectators see u slacking they will bury u. I've had my share of battles.
Dmonte I can tell you have way more footwork style then what you showed that night, but don't forget you dancing and that where Nerd Killed you at. You still amazing at what you are doing, but when a dancer hit the dance floor and really dances all your tricks as gone to waist. Nerd I'm proud of you, you truly held it down and that wasn't even you at your best. Memphis must be Proud. Ya'll boys need to come down to Duval! Also even though Dmonte clearly lost this battle, he also won at the same time. G Nerd made him come hard (on Nerd set lol) after he goes back and reflect I garentee Dmonte will come back beasting. Love to all dancers man, stop all that end his career crap, I can't wait to see what this experience will do for Dmonte as a dancer, I'll keep watching and supporting!
Really bruh, Cali probably gonna get more love in Memphis than the Jookers cuz yall style will be new to the spectators. Its about respect then competition cuz Memphis crowds are tough on they own people. The tape will tell the story not the crowd.
fooot work is alot more than just glides you have slides.you have steps spins and u have the foot itself that makes it vary. Such as ball heel toes tip toes side ankle outside ankle which will switch up the glides slides spins and steps. Also u have dance motion applied to te ootwork such as tutting animation popping ticking waving etc. Dmonte style of gliding is smooth wave with the feet a continouss flow. He definitely has it down just should deliver it with the music
sometimes I do,certain sanskrit to stimulate the 7 main chakras, sometimes frequencies i.e. third eye frequencies, or Hz's, some mantras, sometimes silence, I try and meditate an hour everyday. if you do, visit the channel shaktipatseer,he has a good playlist for the eyebrow chakra.
if anyone thinks Dmonte won in any since youre being biased. I think Dmonte is mad talented and has ill glides but that only gets you so far so so long. G-Nerd has moves on top of moves plus feet just as cold as D's, and when he combines it into the memphis style its a wrap. Respect to both, but D lost far and square this time lets just keep it real....
It Was A Good Battle, But D Monte Kept On Stopping Because He Had To Give His Ankles Some Rest Because That's Risk Taking Gliding, And You Can't Be Stopping In And Out While Battling And Plus He Was Disturbed G Nerd's Go Because He Knew That He Was Losing, So My Boy G Nerd Got That Battle Milk Here....

Well I won't be bias. Ima keep it 100. Dmonte guy is good, real good, but battling doesn't look to be his thing. Plus I thought turfers tut too? I didn't see none of that from him. Those glides was hella tight doe. Let be honest doe, G-Nerd murdered this guy both rounds. For one, Dmonte wasn't even on beat, I thought dancing was about being on beat? Not just doing yo own thang. I hate to tell you guys but this wasn't even the best G-Nerd. He looked nervous and still kilt dude. Ham and eggs!
You can definitely see the influence that fexing has on G nerd from all those ways and that hat trick he did, since he has been in a couple of battlefest events and also battled at loud against ghost, the best glider in NY,

Nerd delivery and energy was stronger he was bumping so hard hell even D decided to jump in but both of them dudes footwork unique nerd got the south on lock and D got the west on lock with the foot game props to both
AGREED, I'm from Houston and GNerd has been my favorite Jooker since I created RU-vid in 07. He took that dude from the Bay w/ ease and I got fam in the Bay and I didnt really like this dudes style.

heres how the battle REALLY went downnnnnnn so both first rounds tie cuz D came with full heat and G came with it at the end of his first round so round one tie round two if it was any person other than g nerd 4:38 wouldve been a shut down but g came full force and ended it with 6:01 so ima give it to G-nerd

If people wanna say that dmonte has more toe action then i would have to disagree, nerds toe game is some of the best i've ever seen. I give mad respect to dmonte, he does have the illest feet coming out of cali, but you cant go head to head with memphis, and expect to just toe spin, you have to come with all around footwork.

The thing I love about turfin is their ability to adapt over time to their opponents specialties. Now with the way some of these Jookers feet bout to go off in April, Im sure turfin will be planning for a revenge. Because upperbody can only be the highlight if the feet are on point. @RetroG22 to you Dmonte looks fabulous on his feet, but he is very limited, hence his repetetiveness. I've watched others vid of Dmonte and he did better, but still was limited. Nerd did just enough to win, was no need for him to go in hyper beast mode but if u search vids of GNerd u'd se he is well versed on his feet.... heck, that is what Memphis jookin is based upon. Dmonte glides are simple, basic glides in Memphis standards...
