It may be a nuisance when you get a GBB that suffers from being built by bad choices, but when you work on it and make it a top performer, it feels so good😍
This was amazing! Thank you guys, this video was so informative and it definitely gives some peace in me wanting to buy my first GBBR. Also, I've been following you guys since almost the beginning of this channel and I just wanted to say, THANK YOU! This channel is everything I want from a information stand point and the quality of the content is insane! I never thought a channel like this could exist but here we are! Thanks again for all your hard work and giving us the most quality content!
Hey Marlonm You have no idea how much this means to me and the team! And we are so glad that this channel is helping out the Airsoft community in someways! Thank for for the support for all these times, it's a tough road, but I promise you we will keep on making great videos. Best wishes :D
Awesome stuff!! Nice to have a bit of scientific explanation for the reasons behind an upgrade Too many people throw Gucci components into their replica without really understanding the cause & affect and actually end up making things worse 👍
Wonderful insight on the 110. Now i am so tempted to put it into my christmas list...lol. may dropby 2 see u guys one of these days. Keep the good work up. Cheers
Im amazed at full dedication you guys made this video, it really helps me to fix my KWA LM4 that also doesn't have enough hop up. Thanks for the tissue and super glue tip bro 😀 love from indonesia
awesome video as always! you are easily one of my favorite if not the favorite airsoft tech channel out there. always exactly what I want to see/know. thank you and keep up the awesome work!
I’m quite surprised to see so many QC issues within an expensive VFC. Considering how they are improving in the GBBR world, hopefully they deal with this problem.
You guys never fail to amaze me! I love watching this kind of airsoft tech content and you're the best in that category. For future content maybe you can consider doing some hi capa improvements too. That would be lovely
The bolt lock not working after changing the Buffer tube. There is a better solution. The buffertube on the SR25 is a Realsteal milspec Ar10/M16A2 buffertube, wich is 2cm longer, because of the longer Bolt (AR10). So if you want to change the buffer use an Ar10 / or m16A2 buffertube, so you dont need to cut the buffer
Sorry but all this getting me tired of airsoft, why the replicas are never 100 percent finished... Only TokyoMarui is able to deliver replica that works and for long
Marui might be the best quality m4 gbb oob. But I agree with Andrew, it is more fun. When you succeed to perform modification, and surpasses mws, like that vfc, you will have more satisfying feeling. I dont like mws trigger feeling. So toy.
After seeing this, im just gratefull my ghk AK just having some short receiver, wide receiver, and 0.2mm too high hop up retainer that chewed the hop up bucking At least i can adjust the zenitco rail by adding some 2mm spacers File the base of the hop up retainer And fix the wide receiver with wood clamp
Very very nice content. People thought thight barrel while you mod just only with tissue and super glue for super hop up. I agree, nub is the most important than barrel
You guys never fail to deliver, great job. Also, very interesting technique with the paper towel + superglue, I may try that out eventually. I like using harder material for the nub but the metal arm itself (which acts as the nub) is just too hard IMO, It needs a hopup system with virtually no play to work well which is something unfeasible with GBBRs, especially considering VFC's Guide Hop has waay too much play ootb (at least on the BCM, I don't own an MK110). I have a similar way to address this, I carve a cylindrical shape on the hop arm and use a DIY polymer nub, works wonders. In the video it seems you are using Tokyo Marui's stock MWS bucking, is that right ?
Hi! I just ordered a similar gun (with fixed stock) from Taiwan. You gave a lot of good ideas for tuning, thanks for that. I will also replace the NPAS valve with an adjustable one. 2J is allowed for DMR in my country. I hope I can hit the 80 meters too.
In the end I also bought the K1 version from Taiwan. It arrived last week. Unfortunately, the errors in the video were not corrected by VFC. The flat thread of the buffer tube was coated with some kind of adhesive, that's all they "innovated". I replaced it with an original AR10 buffer tube before it broke. It was quite difficult to unroll because of the glue. For the hopup, I glued a piece of an old hopup rubber to contact point of the arm, so it still spins the 0.45 BB properly. I also replaced the valve in the nozzle with an adjustable one (NPAS), I had one at home for a 416 and the two are the same.
if you bought it from a store it might still be the old version, now you can use this video to fix it up lol. But yah I feel sorry that you have to go through all that.
Are they going to release new version of this Gun on february? They had announcement that they will remove the valve knocker and change the hammer to version 3. Thats awesome to hear. Any thoughts on this?
Greetings from Korea. I have a VFC M110 and am trying to make it a gaming machine using HPA. What hop-up rubber and inner barrel did you use? Currently equipped with Mapleleaf's 6.01 510mm and Mapleleaf 70 degree hopup rubber.
Had the same problem with the buffertube. I screwed in a RS Mil-Spec tube and it work as should now. I'm testing different buckings now: W-Hold 70 deg. shot reasonably straight. Have the Modify X-range in there now, but that seems worse. Now the MR hop 70 deg, and Flamingo are left. What did you guys use?
I have a little problem with my brand new replica. I have written the changes below. After the first 5-6 shoots the fps falls to zero, the BB left in the chamber. Have you any idea what is wrong? Maybe the adjustable NPAS valve is not working properly?
@@4UADSmartAirsoft The Hop Up bucking was not proper. I used Maple leaf Super 70, that is a bit shorter and tighter than the original VFC. Replaced Unicorn 80. Works fine with that.
I own the new VFC URG-I GBB, it doesn’t have any of these problems, the only problem is that is not really accurate and bb’s kinda turn on the left at like 20/30mt, do you know what can I do?
I had that problem but it was the firing pin spring that had become deformed. The allen screw that holds the assembly down would back off and cause the assembly to lift and deform the spring. I replaced the spring and used locktite on the allen screw and never had the problem again.
Superglue and tissue paper you say? I'm gonna have to try that. Is that any kind of tissue paper? And what do you do if you need a thicker patch? Glue one layer on top of the other or do you fold the paper?
That is interesting to see how it's basically falling apart. I picked up the 1st Gen you could say, SR25 and the only issue I had was the barrel being low quality at first. After about a year of off and on use, the bolt started to break with the fake gas key and they had a tab on the bottom to help with the hammer resetting to not wear down the bolt. That tends spring literally fell apart and jammed my rifle into full auto till I was able to Jerry rig a AEG reversal latch gear in it I picked up a new bolt and seen they removed it all together now though.
Any recommendations on hop-ups for VFC Avalons, or is it better to just leave it stock? I've used the Maxx Hop-up on my AEG VFC Saber but notice misfeeding ever since I started using it
It’s the dimensions that Maxxhop didn’t do well…. I had the same issue on my Ics. For this case you will need to mod your feeding nozzle length and for hop up bucking you can wait for our 4uad hop up bucking
Very impressive video!!! I wondering BB weight and FPS when you try 80m shot. Normally in S Korea, DMR use 0.3BBs, under 400FPS. Use NPAS very tightly and accuracy is suck. Very sensitive hopup.
so oddly enough my M110K1 does the opposite for some dumb reason it was over hopping with .40s, not sure what it's causing it but I assume it's the bucking or possibly the hopup adjustment, either way this video is very helpful in helping me take apart my m110 and putting it back together, thanks guys
I've heard that swiss cheesing the bolt carrier like you did could potentially lead to issues down the road, especially since GBBRs rely on the momentum of the bolt to properly cycle, cock the hammer, reset the trigger etc. Have you experienced such problems, apart from the ones you depicted in this video ? Nice one btw 👍🏻
Haha sure and thanks for the feedback, actually the Swiss cheese only cut off 45g of the weight it didn’t do much to be honest, and for my Ghk when I switched to this super light 7075 bolt it did mess up the timing a little in which I have to change to a stronger recoil spring in order to keep the full auto stable.
@@4UADSmartAirsoft How was the full auto less stable ? A light bolt carrier and weaker spring would be good for winter play but I don't know if that's actually a concern in Taiwan😅
@@4UADSmartAirsoftI’m thinking of doing the Swiss cheese to a kwa 308 maten (larrrrge bolt) anything I should look out for? I’m very techy so lay it on me
@@4UADSmartAirsoft nice bro, is it field legal? Here in Germany we mostly have outdoor 1.6 joules with assault rifles, around 2 joules with dmrs and 2,5joules with snipers Dmrs and snipers have minimum engagement of 20-25meters
