Hello, thanks for the video. I would like to ask a question though. Would you advise someone who has zero experience or education in this field to start with a bachelors of science or skip directly to a certification in GIS ?
Typically, I would say take an intro GIS course and see what you think. That course should be a part of both a BS degree and a GIS Certificate. If you like it, then you could consider taking more. At my university, we have many students who earn the GIS Certificate while earning their BA or BS degree in different areas of study.
