I just came through a lengthy fast (which also includes social media and news; even still) in pursuit of the nearness of Christ. I got to the end and still felt like I hadn’t even skimmed the surface, yet. I felt as though I had flatlined. The Lord started to speak to me the scriptures about seeking Him early and to “awaken the dawn”. So I, a night owl since birth, started this week setting my alarm for predawn, getting out of bed and sitting in His presence before even turning on the lights. It works for me because I cannot see the chores that need to be done if it’s dark and nobody else is awake. As light begins to pour in the window, that is when I open the Bible and pray the scriptures which turns into deeper study. Before I know it, three hours have passed and I am full. I also don’t feel like a bum for sitting that long only to find half the day is gone and I haven’t been productive because it’s only 9 a.m.. I feel as though the Lord is resuscitating me and chipping away at my cynicism toward the world and renewing my hope.
Started fasting today also. Made a pledge to fast 1x every month. So when I saw your announcement, I decided to join in on this 3- day fast. I need to crucify my flesh so that I can lean more on my spirit and grow closer to Jesus. Blessings to you all who are partaking of this!!!! Amen
The Holy Spirit changed me to a early riser since last September, I ‘be been thinking that I wish I would have more time to read Bible , but I just keep having excuses, and till last September, the Holy Spirit made it sooooo easy to me, I woke up between 4-6, mostly before 6, and I eager to read and pray, it changed me sooo much, and I love the words of GOD! But when the Holy Spirit ‘s kinda not with me, I became less eager, and when the Holy Spirit’s with me I can read more remember more, I need Him every single day! Praising God hallelujah ❤

This happened to me. Joined a group and felt like I got disconnected from God. Like that was the final straw and God gave me over to satan. Started fasting etc... Knew something bad happened... Man, I just hope God has mercy/ grace on my soul and doesn't throw me in hell. That really woke me up.

This was excellent. It took me three hours to watch, I paused at every scripture reference, took notes and prayed for over each scripture lol. It doesn't have to take you that long. I am slow 😂 Vlad is clear and speaks with pellucid detail and this is a life changing video. I hate fasting and I am honest with Jesus about that even though it's a terrible thing to say. And I asked for forgiveness for hating fasting, but I will never stop doing it willingly but with help from the Holy Spirit. But I LOVE the results of a Biblical fast. I did a 3 day water fast which is excruciating...but watching this during my fast was perfect and applicable. I didn't do the group fast - but the LORD had this video appear in my feed in the middle of my fast, it is the ONLY fasting video that came through my suggested feed. Soooo...we have that. Thank you for this video, the noted the 5 things we restore from Biblical fasting is a FOREVER applicable and easy to come back to and share with someone else.
