yes, i would advise you to make sure every gear area is sealed well. once you're done driveing, take the side cover off, (the thing that covers the stearing servo and the motor) and clean everything inside have fun!
Fuck i had to like this, this was not just those pretty boring backflips you can see on different videos, this was actually very cool! Nice teaching! :)
Hi, which on road tire do you recommend for SAVAGE FLUX HP with 6S? I tried HPI phaltline tires but ripped and Baja tires but the car was unstable. Can i use the Vorza tires and wheels?thanks
not sure, but you can get the kit version and install your own electronics. Kit version with electronics from hobbyking(dot)com is cheaper than RTR and the electronics will last like forever :)
what tires did you use? I ve got one but with 2S and stock tires it does not work at all. Can do somting but it tips the wing and flip back on its wheels
I'd love to go out and do this but hpi is so slow at dealing with problems it is unbelievable. i sent my burned out motor 3 weeks ago, express shipping, i phones them today and they haven't even sent it back yet >:-(
"How many backflips can you do in a row?" Are you sure you want to do that? Differential and gear maintenance ding ding. Shattered the drive gear of my savage flux hp by doing backflips, don't want the differentials to grenade,
I have the same. It annoys me that hpi advertises savage flux xs can standing backflip. Okay he can but they didn't say that every 2 rides you have to change gear or the differential after this fun. My colleague has the same model and the same story.
Got the XS a month ago was thinking I was geting the tf-40 tx-rx but go the CRAPPY tf-11 this thing is a JOKE!!! You guys took a hobbie grade truck and gave it a Walmart remote:(
Ohh I forget to say that every drive cup on this car is of poor quality. Very bad wear after 15 packs. Had a new transmission cup split in 2 from new. 1 dead esc.
I just sold my xs. Could never get it to back flip. Motor always over heats. Slipper nut was always coming loose due to its poor design. Eats slipper pads. Pain in the rear to work on. Don't buy one. Get a HP instead unless you want no end of dissatisfaction.
