Under each of the seats is a bunch of flotation foam and under the middle section is the bilge. I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to drill into the foam if you had to.
Along the same thought, is there a way to add more storage under driver and passenger seat? Retrofitting a hinge to bottom would be next just wondering if anyone has cut into that space? Is there any structural interference or all foam?
Sorry. But I’ve never even heard of an Astro ! I would check two things; see if there is a cushion portion that pulls off revealing bolts or screws or see if the seat actually has a covering, and that covering would probably need to be removed in order to expose the bolts or screws. There has to be a way.
@@chickenthighfishing so I guess it’s the same as a procraft they have a hinge on the front of them so there has to be something holding the backs down and I just literally cannot find it
