This video finally has its sequel. MW3 Spec Ops. It only took 2 years: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DB0TV6DX2cY.html Other 2021 additions: yes, the MW2019 premise of the video aged poorly. Yes, I said Barrett wrong. Apparently there are crickets in the background at the end, sorry. And I can't speak for why RU-vid pushes this video so intensely. All these frequent comments and more are discussed in the long awaited and absurdly requested MW3 sequel. :)
My cousin, who really was more like a brother to me died a couple years ago, and I use to play spec ops all the time. My favorite memory with him is getting 3 stars on the snow/stealth map using only knives. BEASTMODE.
@@nedlafontaine2256 you are nice! It would actually be 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
I'm having trouble breathing, nearly pissed myself and have drool in my hair. Insomniac delusions made this the funniest thing I've read in a LONG time.
I just hid in the left shack with the Thunper, lined up the sight so it would 1 shot headshot any juggernauts that came around the corner. It surely wouldn't get any world record times, but it was a great strat the even blew my mind.
I’m only 50 minutes in, I unfortunately don’t have enough hours to watch it in one sitting, I will finish tho because I haven’t been dissatisfied myself at all, thoroughly enjoying this one.
“I gotta be a couple hours into this thing and no one is still watching” literally watched the entire thing in one sitting because apparently I have no life...
Dispatcher: 9-11 what's ur emergency? Family: Help Russians are attacking us! Dispatcher: That's not my problem. Family: Heeellllllll---- *gunshot* *Phone Rings*
This honestly couldn't be more accurate with MW22 and MW23... "Where are those missiles?" "We must defuse the missiles!" "Get those missiles!" "Shepherd's got missiles."
At 8:05 when he talks about that muscle memory of killing the dog I actually laughed. In my mind when it jumped on him all i thought was SPAM THE STICK
I just realized you finally did the MW3 Spec Ops. So I'm coming back and rewatching them in order. But man, I remember 11-Year old me playing MW2 Spec Ops and getting so mad at some of the missions. Especially since I loved getting achievements. So trying to do 3-Stars on missions like Favela and so on were the worst things.
My buddies are moving out of their house which they've known since highschool. Just spent an all-nighter with one of them 3-starring the Echo missions to close out a chapter of his life. Gonna miss that place, man.
Wait it’s 2019 and this guy could have divided his content loads to get more ads and instead just made something more enjoyable without waiting? Ah hang on I see what he did, he just made sure he was over the 10 min limit... granted it’s 2 hours over but better to be safe lmao
Goddamn man, hats off for the hard work and injection of nostalgia. Your commentary is so natural and down to earth too, thanks for not trying to play it up and be obnoxious about it, it can be so easy with these games.
On the last mission when he got to 5 left I was thinking it might be like at the end of the first mission of BO2 when Hudson say “well, we got ‘em Mason” and puts on his aviators, rock music in the background. He then proceeds to be shot in the shoulder lol Edit: ok it did happen
It might be the wrong kind of game for you, honestly. My brother grew up on COD and hates shooters now because he realized that RTS and minecraft-type games are more his speed.
The strat for the juggernaut mission is to aim for the head, position the bottom crosshair slightly under the chin and account for the distance between you and the target. With some luck good timing, and skill you can one shot a juggernaut.
@@S0ur I managed to 100% MW2 and get every achievement! Spec ops wasn't as bad as I remembered it to be, and it was quite fun actually Will you be doing a MW3 spec ops video?
I rewatch these spec ops vids almost every week at this point. I have to say one of the best part of the playthrough is how natural you're playing the game. Being goofy, relearning the details of missions, the sudden memory of things when you see or hear specific things, I also love your voice. It's just so relaxed and chill. It feels like I'm watching a person who is relatable. I've been going through these again after like 13 years with a mate (going for all the trophies) and it's very easy to relate to things you think or feel about the game. You aren't trying to be over the top hype or trying to be the best gamer in the world. Plus the gags and jokes and stuff are very enjoyable too. This, MW3 + DLC are just the perfect packages imo. No matter how much humble pie you try to eat, there is definitely a reason for the videos to be so popular. Much love sour ❤
The nostalgia in this. Man I remember doing 3 stars for all of them as well. Used my friend Andy for the coop missions. Man the rage I had at times and the feeling of accomplishment. I can’t thank you enough for bringing back these memories.
I remember my first Platinum was on this game. Doing the spec ops for all stars were the hardest, and since I didn't have a friend at the moment I plugged in another controller so I could complete the 2 player ops. It was hard but felt very accomplishing when I got the Platinum and watching you doing the challenge brings back memories. Good work
lol i thought they got into my room somehow i kept pausing the video and look around, i thought they got quite cause i started to walk around. then i read the comments
I smoked and came inside and put on the longest video I could find for background noise but I’m about halfway through and I couldn’t stop peeking and seein what’s goin on for the first 15 minutes and after that I’ve just sat up in bed and cheered u on. You’re maaaad entertaining I can’t wait to watch the mw3 video
Man I remember my buddies and I would sleep over at each others houses but we would stay up all night playing this! From unlocking everything in multiplayer to getting all 3 stars in spec ops and %100 the campaign! One of my buddies had a pool and we would reenact parts with nerf guns! Good times
Each mission brings back deja vu I remember it so vividly. Idek you but this came up and thank you this was awesome! Couldnt turn down a trip down memory lane
It was painful watching him not use the cheese camping spot on the final spec ops mission with the 15 jugs. Even on Veteran, it made it one of the easiest
Throughout the past decade, I never knew destroying a Helicopter with bullets actually counts. I thought the game will tell you that "Bullets cannot damage *Any* enemy vehicle" but it says it when shooting a BTR80.
Ahh the memories. Whenever I wonder why I’m so nostalgic about these games I realize it’s partially because it was just an awesome time in my life for gaming with the buds…. And partially because these games are still cool and impressive today. Back then when they were new and I hadn’t ever had anything like it before it was mind blowing. As someone who is very much into guns and gear now I can say with some serious confidence that the MW games were a large influence in my interest in guns today. I still lust after guns that were in these games that are either insanely expensive, extremely rare, insanely expensive and extremely rare, or just flat out unobtainable. My list of guns that I’d love to collect and own would look a lot like the weapons selection from the MW series.
