I had to buzz my hair due to trichotillomania. I… left it like that now for two years lol. Short hair makes ME personally look more feminine. I think it’s my eyes. Which was so helpful for me because I always felt so boyish. But my gosh it’s so easy, keeps me so cool in the heat, and I just love it lol.
I forced my mom to cut mine off herself (she was a hair stylist a while back) soley because I was so done trying to keep up with it. Best decision lmao I'm so free 😂
@@Ashildr__ riiiiight! Also I’m so mad no one ever told me how wonderful it is to swim with a buzz or super short hair! My gosh! The only thing is when you first try to sleep after buzzing for the first time, and it feels like you have hundreds of little bugs moving all around your head when you slightly move on the pillow. Weirdest feeling ever. Don’t have it anymore though.
I'm not uncomfortable with their appearance. I'm uncomfortable that 'they' change their mind about who they are every six months. Flavour of the month and all that. It's annoying and disingenuous but it sure makes them a lot of money. They monetized their own husband's suicide under the guise of 'sharing and public education', monetized having kids as a teenager, glorified the horror of that, complained weekly about how terrible their life was ....it's just getting to be too much. I'm not watching anymore. It's like a train wreck.

Just found out that I've been watching & supporting a channel that was about a young family who suffered a major tragedy & a strong young woman raising two daughters alone who decided she now wants to be the opposite gender. That is sad, especially for the kids who lost their Dad before they even knew him & now their Mom wants to be their Dad.
I did this at 23 on a whim, I decided one day that I wanted a super butchy haircut (I’m a queer woman, typically fairly femme leaning). Luckily I worked as a receptionist at a hair salon, so the next day I had them chop all of my hair off. Then a few days later I went even shorter, like buzz cut short. And bleached my head icy blonde. Sometimes we just want to switch it up, affirm our feelings, and experience all that our body can offer us - including different looks. Your new look is great Cam!!
I never wear makeup and put my hair up all the time and wear basic clothes… im not trans or non binary 🙄 im a women who just doesnt care about how i look as long as im clean and comfy. People need to stop having to slap a label on something just normal to get attention 🙄🙄🙄 WHO CARES IF YOU DONT DRESS UP ‘PRETTY’, WEAR MAKEUP OR DO YOUR HAIR. But that certainly doesnt mean you arent straight up a women, you have a vagina, that defines your gender. Act/dress how you want but your body is your gender end of story 🙄🙄🙄
I really like it that you feel you can express yourself. It's honestly a great thing. It's so great, I'm going to express myself as well. Thank you for giving me the green light on this. God put two genders on this earth: females and males. Thank God you were feeling like a woman when you had the girls, because the girls would NOT EXIST if you had this epiphany back before they were conceived. All I can say beyond this is that I pray for those little babies. They have so much to process. I'm going to leave it right there.
you’re contradicting yourself. you’re saying that how you present yourself does not equal gender. you then say that you can be “gender nonconforming” while being cis, which means that how you present yourself does have an association to a certain gender. completely contradictory to your beginning statement.
@@sofiakayte1362 Obviously how you present yourself has an association to a certain gender. Doesn't mean that association equates to the gender (i.e. wearing dresses doesn't = being a woman). When I say "gender nonconforming", I mean not conforming to the social constructs around gender like fashion, not gender itself. Like if you're a masculine cis woman you're not conforming to current gender norms but your gender still aligns with your biological sex. Which is being cis and gender nonconforming
Its giving identity crisis, i don't know if its due to the trauma which it possibly could be but i hope you're okay mentally, i really hope you're not struggling and going into mania or something. Usually people who make this much of a drastic change are usually in manic episodes or in decline mentally. This is NOT a hate comment I'm just generally concerned for cam and her children as they're probably going to be so confused why their mom had such a drastic appearance change.
Honestly i believe this is 100% a trauma response . Looking at what she's gone through i feel like she dived herself in deeper . Cutting hair and having this gender dysphoria and instantly acting like a boy is very concerning to me . I feel bad for the girls and for the fact that they not only lost their dad but now have to deal w mom turninig into this gender confused woman who God forbid will ask her girls later to not call her mom but parent cuz its part of their gender identity . I hope my words wont come true

I bought clippers several years ago and buzz my hair right off. People are freaked out when you’re born female, haven’t figured yourself out until your 40’s, and look like a guy. Hair is hair, clothes are clothes, who cares what we feel comfortable with. Not hurting anyone or trying to change others. Good for you Cam!

Im a 57 yr old woman who’s been married for 32 yrs with adult children- I do not get the pronoun thing or the different names for being gay or gender. I’m too old to change and to be honest I won’t. I’m just confused you can be lovely, a woman and gay?
As someone who worked as a receptionist for a hair salon, doing that to the schedule puts them super behind and late for their upcoming involved appointments, and they are usually super mean to us😂 but they shouldn’t be that way to the client.
I cut all my hair off 2 years ago and I dressed very masculine and I was young and I found my self but I always where a hat and I where it backwards. And a coach told me the way you where your hat is the way you want to go in life.

it just means they are presenting them self in a more gender neutral way, cam cutting their hair shorter makes them feel better about their gender, they have come out as non binary which means they neither identify as female nor male, their new haircut affirms to how they feel about their gender.

my tip for getting back to ur natural color fast is by dying it a very similar tone (maybe slightly lighter) and then the transition looks less noticeable :)
Everything she's been through has clearly caused the confusion. Nobody starts thinking this way unless they either have a lot of trauma, or want attention. Someone in this position needs therapy, not new pronouns.

Well it's time to say goodbye to this channel. Watched it from the start, a young couple with a baby who against all odds made a family & home together. After the tragic death of Landon, continued watching to support this young widowed Mother until this video. To see a young woman suddenly decide to become non-binary & go by pronouns after being married to a man & birthing children is not a channel I wish to support any longer. I 100% agree with you, I genuinely feel sorry and scared for her, I feel like she's so lost and doesn't know what to do with herself anymore, I just hope those children don't get caught in the woke communities trap. no one needs to agree with cam, but cam wants to do what makes her the happiest of herself. It’s not necessarily for anyone but herself. People want to express themselves to find their people too.
I know it’s so tragic to see the photo of her with her husband at their wedding, normal hair color and beautiful clothes, a lovely child, literally the dream we all aspire to that’s the bedrock of happiness and civilization, and to now see her like this. Getting pregnant young, marrying so young and the trauma she endured this is all the result of mental health issues. Sadly but I see it a lot people wanting to be something else due to so many underlying issues.
oh get a grip. Cutting your hair short means nothing. Some people begin to just simply hate long hair after dealing with it for so long and are much happier with short hair. If someone is happy with cutting THEIR hair short fine... it does not affect you an any way.

i swear im always in sync with you! i just cut my hair too! i cut like half of it off into a bob to be more gender affirming. im going to go shorter in a couple of months to have a more masculine cut but now just wasnt the time

I went from long hair to completely buzzed on the sides and back and a little shorter than yours up top. I loved the haircut but absolutely hated it on my face. Growing it out has been the biggest pain and I absolutely loved when mine was a little bit longer than yours is now. It definitely takes some time to play around with it to get it right!

A few years ago my mum used the colour remover because she used to die her hair blonde all the time and wanted a change sadly yes it turned out bright orange like you said and she has short hair. Even did it days before we went on holiday to New Zealand. It was Christmas I said to her just say it’s a Christmas colour
