My key was stuck in my favorite vintage Masterlock Padlock and I couldn't get it out, after not being able to find anything on RU-vid and finally figuring it out I decided to make this video..
I got a key out of a padlock a few minutes ago. It had been sprayed with WD-40 a few days ago when it was becoming stiff but a key got stuck in it today. I held the padlock by the C shaped bar (Wjhatever it is?) and put the key end of the lock over a over a gas burner on a stove and kept rotating it to burn off the WD-40. I didn't let it get so hot that the C was too hot to handle. Next I held the key with pliers and jiggled the key about a few times but not too forcefully. I just wanted to try and create a bit of space around the key. The pliers were only to protect my hand from getting hot. I then got some graphite powder and rubbed it around the key and jiggled the key again. More graphite powder and more jiggling and then the key came out. It probably only took 3 minutes from start to finish. Graphite powder (powdered pencil lead is the same thing) is a little messy so be warned.

I know how you felt. I was having a similar problem, and tried your process. Unfortunately, It didn't come out. Guess it doesn't work for keys which are stuck due to a forceful insertion in the wrong way.
Hey this is a post about 35 mins after my last comment.... I removed the key. I showed it to my mom. then u wanted to check if the lock is working. and damn. it got stuck again. 😭😭😭
