I'm not trying to sound like an ad scammer person on here but you should try rapid lash serum! I got it at my local drugstore and I think they sell it at Ulta (idk if u have those in Aussie).my lashes grew like craaaazzzyyyy and there's a bunch of video reviews on here!
Omg, I need this. I have eyelashes that grow downward because of my eye shape. Sometimes they even curl inward and poke me in the eye. This would be a great solution.
+Rahima Khan Hope you don't mind my asking, but IDK what the initial's, (if they r initials) "ATM" stands for. I'm aware of the testing (act's, etc.) that are required, ....Just wondering what type of exam it is. I was thinking that maybe bc we're on a Lash video, that maybe your attending an Aesthetics school......? LOL Just Guessing and Being Nosey, Hahaahaaaa ! (Love 2 hear back from u) KEEP SMILING & Stay Beautiful Inside And Out
The end result looks really fantastic, but watching you get it done was the most nerve-wrecking thing I've ever seen. Took 30 yeas off my heart with how close that perm solution got to your eye.
People are saying it's expensive or it's to much of a hassle but I think it looks really nice, I want to try it because I can't wear makeup at school! My only concern is I have very sensitive skin and eyes so I'm a bit scared
Jemma Ward i would not suggest doing it at home without experience because you can easily blind yourself or burn your eyelashes if you leave it on too long
I have had this done, i have very sensitive eyes and nothing happened. Allthough i had a huge erge to open my eyes while i had product on them. But i definetely recommend this ! Mine lasted about 2 months :)
can you try for us hair removing with laser . I would appreciate that so much because I want to do it but is super expensive so I want to make sure it worth ut
I think that in the armpit hair light we video she said that she got laser hair removal on some of her armpit hair. I might be wrong though so don't quote me on that. نور أحمد
نور أحمد it can work on Tina but that doesn't mean it will work on everybody. it depends on your skincolour and haircolour. you can ask for a test at a 🙂beauty salon
How much risk of going blind is involved? If they were to do this incorrectly or get the perming solution in your eyes would you then be blinded? Edited to correct typo.
Amanda Taylor I was pretty scared to see how dangerous it all looked. She had to keep her eyes firmly closed so that nothing could irritate them- and still I was afraid something could go wrong seeing how close to the roots it all was or that some of that stuff could still remain on her lashes at the end. Nope, I'll use my old good eye lash curler
Amanda Taylor this is the kinda thing is don't get it done if it's really cheap and not a well known place look at reviews to because at bigger company's they will defiantly have better and more professional employees doing this
I think may not take a high risk be blinded if you do this on professional lash blossom, I done my lash perm four times per year when I was younger, its pretty good look but the real risk is loss a lots of lashes.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I do have VERY long, but very straight, downward-pointing lashes and decided to do a lash lift (rather than another lash perm) this time. It looks awesome and I'm so happy!
You are not meant to get your lashes wet for at least 24 hours after yet she got them tinted and flushed them with water not recommended ! Would not recommend this place
My niece did this a month ago. Next thing we know is her eyes became so swollen her eyes nearly shut and the burn feeling was real. 2 ER visits and then to the eye doc. I know lots of people do this but after seeing that, I'll stick with fake lashes. She had major chemical burns as well as massive allergic reaction. I do get lash extensions from time to time and I've never had issues.
A similar thing happened to my sister as well. She had done it before maybe 3-4 times before, but this time she went to a different person who clearly had no idea what she was doing. My sister had to go to the doctor, but luckily she got better within a week. She lost almost half her lashes though, and had to wait for them to grow back. Really important that you go to someone you trust when you apply chemicals near your eyes!
I got my lashes permed for the first time two days ago. I love it! I have naturally stick straight blonde lashes so they're hard to see and they don't hold a curl. I'm an esthetician and I actually tint my own lashes and brows, but theres no way I'd perm my own, so I went and had it done. Cost me $55.
I love how your lashes turned out and omg your skin looks amazing even on the close ups. Hope they have lash lifts from where i live. It would def make my life easier cause i curl my lashes everyday.
Tina Yong very true..your videos are great thank you for making em...I'm still trying to get my wing eyeliner right lol yep I'm 43 and still can't get it right lol
I had mine done for a holiday and am really happy with the difference. That said, being in and out of the sea really took its toll on them. So it was a conflict between how fantastic it was not to need mascara on holiday and knowing I'd be shortening the life of the treatment. After two hectic activity filled weeks the dye is fading and the lift has dropped by about half. But I'm definitely doing it again for the party season (and no sea!) Like you I can still see a lovely improvement when I now use mascara; more than before the lift.
I naturally have long curly eyelashes but i started to get eyelash lifts for about a year ago and every time it falls i get it done again. It looks so amazing.
I'm blessed to have super long lashes but also cursed since the won't hold a curl! This is really the only way to have my lashes curl and stay curled! I love it 😍 but they charge $20-$25 here in SoCal 😤
This is a wonderful treatment for eyelashes. I've done this several times. Mines are straight and this helped me to mantain them curl. The more times you perm them the less straight they are. ❤ REALLY GOOD!! ❤
mine last less than 2 weeks :/ I think it has to do with the fact i sleep with my face half in the pillow so the lashes get squished? Only reason i can think of why it doesn't work for me!
i had mine done and it lasted about 2-3 months until all the lashes dropped back to normal. after 1 month or so a few lashes could drop, but i usually care to that by curling it or putting mascara. but then again i think it depends on your eyelash bcs some ppl can be thicker and some can be thinner :)
Gail Lurie just commented about. My niece did this about a month ago and eyes swollen shut with chemical burns and a massive allergic reaction. It was so bad. So painful too.
Daniella Montero what if the person is putting it on your eyes and sneezes??! Or coughs?!?! And their hands move accidentally?? Bam...you're blind! No thank you!
I lift my lashes by myself every second month and I think I will never stop doing that. CHANGED MY WHOLE LIFE and it's so much time saving with my normaly short and straight down lashes. I need to buy the silicon, using the rolls does really hurt.
I got mine done a few months ago and paid $70 USD. Two days ago I did them myself using a kit I got from Amazon for $15. I will be doing them myself from now on. The kit will last forever, but I'll replace after 6-8 months. I love how they turned out so much better when I did it. The girl I went to had great reviews, but my lashes weren't all that.
I don't think they "relax back to their natural state" I think they fall out (natural shedding) then grow back with their natural texture /curl pattern
No, your natural lashes shed and grow back out just like hair on your body and nails. when new lashes grow back in, it will obviously not be 'curled/lifted'. This is why, if you want to maintain the curl, you must return every 3-4 weeks (or however fast/slow your natural lashes grow out) to get them lifted again
Not sure if you'll read this but I'll leave this in case anyone else is interested. I visited Lash Blossom this week to see if I could get a perm/lift. I raised my concerns that maybe the procedure won't work on me as I have short lashes. The first consultant said that it should be ok and so I booked an appointment. But when I arrived for it the next day for the appointment, another consultant told me that my lashes are too short and my eyes are too hooded for there to be any effect. Whilst it kinda hurt, I appreciated the honesty. So I would say that this procedure probably only works if you have decent eyelashes. I'm Asian with short and fine lashes, and unfortunately quite hooded lids. I really wanted to try it but I guess it won't work for me :(
Hi tina, try microblading for your brows its a semi permanent tattoo but i promise it only last months either 5 to 6 months and then you can choose which shade and size you want your brows to have. My tita had that months ago and now she had it again because it really does look like a real brows
I have long straight blonde eyelashes, they only stay up when I curl them 3 times before putting mascara on, it really works 1 curl never worked on me you have to do it 2 or 3 times for a good result
I just had a lash lift and never going back. Natural lashes boring and extensions were too much work and expensive, lash lift is just easier to maintain and look awesome
As a recent graduate for esthetics this gives me a good idea on how to do a lash lift better than with those cotton wands that's hurts when you take them off. Thanks for showing us the whole process I appreciate it love 😉😘
I have been thinking of getting eye lash extensions but this looks way more natural and they came out so beautifully! Thank you so much for videoing your experience. I cannot wait to try this! :)
I'd love to try this! I've been trying to decide between getting my eyelashes permed or getting lash extensions. I have long lashes but I'm Asian so they are pretty straight and only the ends curl up. I hate curling my lashes before mascara Bc I feel like I'm stressing them out for no reason Bc they go back down after like an hour ): I'm definitely gonna look for a good place to do this in San Diego!
adriennemeagan I've had lash extensions. They can add them as whichever curl or length you want, so they give the lashes the appearance of being more curled AND long. A lash lift only curls them but requires less upkeep I would think (you have to be careful with extensions - the type of makeup remover you use etc)
Naomi Rowan Blog thank you for the input! That's really good to know! I think that the eyelash extensions might be a little more upkeep than I would want. My lashes are already pretty full and long so I think the eyelash perm is the way to go! Thank you!
Wow that's a huge difference! I've been on an eyelash video kick lately. Just uploaded a video about MAGNETIC LASHES - you need to try those next, Tina!!! 💗💕
She's double dipping the lash adhesive. Such a big no no when it comes to the safety of your eyes. It's like a makeup artist double dipping mascara on clients. :(
I've just got à lashlift four days ago and I absolutely love it 😍 I have a lot of eyelashes, but they weren't that long but now I look like I have doll eyes 😍 after 2 days the "wet" finish goes away and the eyelashes are not stuck to each other anymore. It took an hour and a half and it was kinda expensive but it was sooo worth it 😍 I don't even need mascara anymore !
i have short straight asian lashes but after discovering lash serums and lash lifts it has really changed my life! haha Now i have long curled lashes for about 2-3 months and makes putting on makeup quicker and easier!
And how is 'lash lifting' different than a normal perm? I've done perm few times in my life, paid 1/5 of the price :) Still - love the effect, you look great :)
I usually use coconut oil and aloe vera to help my eyelashes grow and it helped a lot. It also gave a natural lift to my eyelashes sense they got longer. Just a tip! :)
Actually, 3:55 well it depends. I had a lash lift and IT STUNG! I think some of the adhesive/perming solution got in my eye and when the treatment was done, my etes were really red.
this just looks scary to me. guess i should be grateful I have naturally long lifted lashes already. Although I've found that to be the case with a lot of people who have naturally curly hair I believe. I have never lacked for long thick hair. Great for eyelashes, terrible for shaving :D
This actually sounds like something that I could use! I didn't even know this was a thing. I have long, thick, black lashes that are straight as a board and super resistant to holding a curl. Maybe next year when I'm back in the US I'll try this!
just heat up your eyelash curler so it's warm (with a hair dryer) and your lashes will stay curled up longer. no need for expensive damaging treatment to your lashes. but if you feel it's necessary to get a lash perm. your choice. it is just like dying your hair a different colour, it can be really damaging over time, especially since your lashes are SUPER delicate.
Alyssa Seniuk it's meant to be a treatment where afterwards you won't need to curl your eyelashes, so it's less of a hassle when doing you makeup, they use a cream solution rather than the previous liquid because it's less damaging, has a lower risk of causing a reaction and less likely you get into your eye.
The perm lasts 1-3 months while a curler lasts less than a day. You don’t have to dye the lashes. It’s an optional extra, and there’s a solution that helps keep the lashes healthy even after the perm. People do it because they like the feeling of waking up and already having beautiful lashes.
i do that trick too. but im getting tired of that proccess now, heating the curler with my hair dryer again and again. i think im getting my lashes permed this month 😖😝
This is so wonderful! Love lash extensions but upkeep with daily considerations for being careful always makes me hesitant to be consistent with fill ins. Lash tint for my colorless lashes were a miracle and this lash lift looksnto be the second makeup life altering procedure coming into my life. Can't wait to find s local salon to have this done.
I couldn't understand why everyone was confused thinking it was $9, when you clearly said $90. But then I realised that because I'm Australian too, there's no accent confusion when I watch / listen to your videos.
Haha, I just watched the price part again. Gosh we Australians are lazy with our speech! Our "ninety" is more like "nine" with a quick "ee" on the end. Like "nine-y". I didn't even notice when I watched the first time - to me you were clearly saying ninety. So weird / cool that we can all speak like that and somehow still easily understand each other! But it must be confusing for other countries that speak English and then listen to us and haven't got a clue what we're saying half the time.
I am so grateful my lashes are naturally very long and lifted when I see 'trends' like this (I'm not sure if you can call it a trend I just see it very often on my instagram feed)
had mine done before and it looks totally great so i always get it done every few months! my lashes are not very long but i have small eyes so this really helped made my eyes look more big (?). worth a try!
my eyelashes are naturally curly because I have super curly hair but I actually try to get them to be straighter when I put on my mascara :/ I like straight eyelashes, and Tina, you look great with both!
