A perm is not just a new style. It is literal damage to your scalp. It will not just grow back. It really depends on how much damage you get from the perm. And straight hair is something our hair can do, it is not just a style it is one of the states our hair can be in. It is like liquid and gas, it is the same chemical in a different state. And it doesn’t mean you want to be white. You think black folks won’t have discovered the full spectrum of what there hair can do. You think we wouldn’t have invented heat tools without the image of a white person???
