There is nothing worse as a bummer in having tooth pain while on vacation/fishing trips. Before any long haul trips I make sure dental stuff is taken care of:).

I miss Colombia, went to Medellin many years ago for my first time, planned to have Lasic surgery there, the only reason I didn't is I don't speak Spanish. However, the Dr. in Miami studied from the DR. in Medellin who actually invented the procedure I needed done. Enjoy your trip❣
Smart . You can get dental work done AND pay for a vacation for what you'd pay for that dental work in U.S.A>. Just do your due deligence and find the right dentist .

Interesting the generic use of Zapote name. Here in So Calif I have Sapote. Basically a yellow Fuyu- Japanese persimmon. All are tasty though and am currently trying to secure a Mangostien. They sound so good n hope they will grow here. Love the adventures as always n best to you Kelly
Ouch, root canals are not fun. Yes they are cheaper in South America with the same if not better quality from what i hear. Colombia is a very beautiful country from what I am seeing. Enjoy the journey

The Sears Tower AKA Willis Tower ( I hate that Sears Tower changed names ) in Chicago has 2,109 stairs to the top ! IMAGINE THAT CLIMB ??? People do it as a fund raiser every year ! DEFINITELY NOT FOR ME !!! 🤣 But that rock climb you did was INSANE ! And I understand being out of breath on your way up ! WHAT A VIEW AT THE TOP ! 😯🥰

Hi Kelly, Great Channel you have. I'm from Florida too and I have needed a lot of dental work done. I previously went to a dentist in Costa Rica and they did good work at a about 1/3 of US prices. I recently was on vacation in Cancun and found a dentist even less expensive than Costa Rica and they do fantastic work. I had 4 root canals for $525 and crowns are around $250 each.
Way cheaper. I had a root canal done omg $845 then a crown $842 plus 2 visits for the root canal and 3 visits for the crown. FYI that cost was with what I was told was " really good dental ins" l.i cannot imagine how much money it would have cost. You're very fortunate it cost so little, plus got to faca in Columbia. Nice!!! Be mindful of the crown. They do break.

actually a smart idea. Us Americans think we are the top of the food chain but that kind of thinking is obviously wrong. Here she goes getting the same surgery for a fraction of the cost. Just to get a wisdom tooth removed is like $1500 dollars a tooth. Not even talking about surgery to fix something.
Medical care in the USA can't be more expensive. Even if you would do the same treatment in Europe It would be cheaper. English citizens would have It for free in England. In Spain just the canal treatment, without the surgery would cost around $150. If a surgery is needed, it surely would be included in your social security and you will have It for free.
Here in Ireland healthcare is basically free..i can get mri ct scans any kind of surgery for free..but have to pay the dentist makes no sense as ok always wondered why its a separate thing

Looks like another cavity in the back . I need a tooth pulled too but it costs 15 to 50 thousand and they can't tell me how much . All because I had throat cancer and radiation and I have to have treatments in a machine that they use on divers who get the bends

So crazy how people have completely different experiences, I had two wisdom teeth removed about two years ago at age 46 , I was pretty much fine the next day. Though I do have a great dentist so the credit goes to him
